MYLEK Electric Skirting Board Convector Heater 1KW, Low Level Profile, Thermostat, Digital Timer for Home/Conservatory - Slimline Baseboard Radiator with Anti Frost, Remote Control

We bought this as an unobtrusive heater to augment the central heating system in our conservatory overnight. We keep it on 15degC and it only comes on when the temperature drops below 15, usually on cold nights. My wife enjoys sitting in the conservatory all year round and she has turned it up to 20 during the day to be comfortable, and is very happy with this radiator. It appears reasonably economic to use, as its in-built thermostat regulates its output well. The little remote is very useful, as otherwise you have to get on your hands and knees to operate its controls.

Just what i needed with the 3 Heat settings. 300/700/1000. I use the 300 setting to take the cold bite out of the the air. It takes about 15 mins to get to the full heat output but very suprising how much heat it emits. Glad i got it.

Fits neatly on floor of my conservatory floor. Maintains a low heat setting overnight on the lowest heat setting. Has plenty of power in the 2 higher heat settings to boost the temperature when conservatory needed in short notice.It has a handy timer setting to either turn heater on OR off in the set number of hours (one day only), which I have not needed to use up to now.Beware that the feet are packed in one of the end pieces of foam. I did not see them , but the seller was very quick to let me know when I asked where they were. Found the seller very helpful.

*****Update***After having this heater, just over 3 months, it has stopped working, and keeps tripping the electric.Which has worked out very expensive with the cost of the actual heater and it running at full capacity even though it was supposed to be on the low setting.DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY!!It’s hard to connect the seller, and if you do get a reply, it’s just a generic reply that does not answer your question, I would return but the returns window is closed, so obviously there is no warrantyI bought this heater as I wanted something economical, the fact it had the 3 different wattage settings was the selling point for me, but after having it a few days, I checked my energy usage and realised it uses the full power setting even when I had it on the lowest, I tried to contact the seller (not easy as have to do it through Amazon) to ask if I had a faulty until only for my question to be disregarded and basically told it had 3 settings, I tried to ask another question only for it to be ignored, feel I have wasted my money and will search for another economical heater.

Not all the functions work, cannot dim the display, no instruction for remote control... There's an arrow symbol on the lock button... No idea what this does as that button only operates the lock function.The thermostat is not accurate as it's 18 degrees in the room and I've set the heater to 20 and it doesn't come on at all. To rmaintain a temperature I set it to 21 which means it's on for too long so then straight away I have to reduce the temp back 20. Once it gets to 20.... It doesn't come back on again.The common issue with such heaters is that they allow the temperature to drop too low before coming back on. I keep having to raising the setting to get it to work. All it needs is internal fan so it can detect the actual temperature.I regret buying it.

Bought this for the conservatory. It works very well, great design and easy to use. Very pleased with the purchase.

What I like about this heater is part from it’s got a remote which works really well is it’s got high medium and low heat than what I do I’ve got a little man cave which is really well insulated so once it’s reached temperature I turn it on to the low mark which I think is only about 300 W and it maintains the temperature constantly as long as I don’t open any doors or windows it’s also got a timer on it and it’s completely silent so yeah works well

Since getting this I've realised just how annoying it actually is. The display is the worst I've ever come across, and almost impossible to see unless you're in a dark room and laid on the floor so it's at eye level. If I had realised how much cursing and swearing would be involved in doing something as simple as changing the output then I would never have bought it.
