This frame is perfect, especially in bathrooms where you cannot install secure grab bars. It's easy to install and stays put. As I was recovering from foot surgery, I could not put any weight on my right foot, so I had to balance on one foot. This frame gave me complete confidence, allowing me to be independent when I came home.

This was a life saver for my wife who is recovering from a broken foot and could only push off with one foot and needed to use her arms to get up.. This made it very easy for her to use the toilet. I had my doubts about how sturdy this would be but it was very sturdy and worked very well. It was also very easy to install. Highly recommend!

This is not very sturdy when put together and the arms are not secure. The arms lay on the toilet bowl itself and when standing up they slip and can cause someone to fall. My husband had knee replacement surgery and when he tried it the arm slipped from under the bowl…..luckily he didn’t injure himself. I was hoping we had found the perfect temporary fit for our medical issue but it just wasn’t safe.

These hand rails are exactly what my elderly mom needs to help her feel secure using the toilet. You do have to attach the back piece with the toilet seat screws, but you can move the arms out a little without disassembling them to facilitate cleaning or to accommodate slightly larger bodies. My mom has commented several times about how much she likes having the rails and says they make it much easier to sit down and stand up.

I have MS and have lost use of my left side. I am not an XL person but I found this product a bit too narrow to clean myself properly. Since I wasn't using the left arm I removed it, which opened up the area quite a bit and made it perfect for me.
