Holds 20-25 lbs of kibble, which is why I got it. The top spins/screws closed and is a little bit fussy about how you how you first seat it to get it to turn right. Very sturdy container. I can't detect any dog food smell when it is closed, which is great.I read other reviews, some people who've had this for years and they are still happy with it.

I use this for my dogs food and it holds a lot of storage and they come in variety of size so that you can change. The lid works well, although at times the seam that helps keep it closed and keep things out pops off sometimes but you can just put it back on and it's fine.I've left it in the rain before and the food stayed dry. I've dropped it down the stairs and it still seems to hold its structure and continues to work well!

perfect, it cost about $10 less than petco had them for, so i picked one up on amazon for my cats' food. i occasionally get mice because i live somewhere rural and i don't want them to get into the cat food or chew open the bags. it fit a 16lb bag of friskies with some space on top just perfectly. very easy to screw the lid on and off, the seal on the lid seems to be good.
