Excellent Quality Fan Exceptional Price and Functionality
The media could not be loaded. I purchased the JPower 12” 1800CFM exhaust fan to help ventilate fumes from my workshop. My choice of CFMs were based on a third party website that calculates what you would need to safely remove fumes, etc. from an enclosed area. The fan arrived in about a week due to the Covid shipping priorities. The package came with a new single speed 12” exhaust fan with cage and louvers, brochure, and instruction manual. The manual does not contain installation instructions except for a wiring diagram. It did not come with wiring. I ended up purchasing a 16 gauge extension cord and wall switch that I installed on the fan using the supplied instructions. The instructions contain safety and usage information as well as the fan specs and maintenance. The fan appears to be very well made. The cage and louvers are made of high quality metal. I did notice that one of my fan blades had a small bend in it. I contacted JPower and asked them about the reliability of the bend. It was still within the specs of safe usage. They offered to replace it but I chose to keep it. The fan is about as loud as a 20 box fan.I asked about the warranty. The Amazon listing states 5 years but the instruction manual states 1 year limited warranty. When I contacted then they clarified that the fan has a 1 year warranty but the fan motor has a 5 year warranty. Each response from the company took about 12-24 hours for a reply.I also asked if the fan should be installed from the inside against the back of the wall or from outside against the front side of the wall. They clarified that the install should be from the inside with the louvers coming through the back of the wall. They also send customer installs showing the proper installation positioning. My workshop is insulated and has a mini-split AC/Heater. There is some heat and cooling loss through the louvers but it was not something that deterred me from keeping it installed. I am installed a light weight dust filter over the intake side to help with heat/AC loss as well as filter the contaminants from getting on the fan and escaping the outside of the workshop. It took about 60 minutes for me to install it and a few days to gather the extra information I contacted the seller about. All in all I am very pleased with the exhaust fan and the customer service that was provided to me.I would recommend the exhaust fan. powerful and quiet
This review is for a fan I purchased recently for $59.99 I now consider it a great value. The fan was simple to install in the side wall of my house. To cut and frame a hole in your home's wall you need basic carpentry skills. The wiring is very simple, but if direct connecting to your home's electric you should have a qualified electrician do the work. I took the basic approach and wired an extension cord to the fan's connection wires. Simple black, white and green. I plug the fan in to turn it on.The fan is industrial in appearance and described that way in the ad. It's a workhorse that will work for a long time to come. It's said to move 1800 CFM which is a lot of air. It's relatively quiet. We installed this in a wall behind our refrigerator to draw hot air out of the kitchen. This causes the cool living room air conditioned air to move into the kitchen. The temperature dropped 10 degrees in just a few minutes of the fan operating. Simple, powerful, does what the ad says it will do. All the attributes of a five star product.

Motor runs hot
The fan works and does what everyone here says. It moves a lot of air and is quiet. But after running it about a minute to test, I had to readjust and the motor was hot. Not sure if that's normal... but is it hot to touch.

Powerful but Quiet
I purchased and installed one of these babies to exhaust my generator shack. Does not come with wiring; but that's easily obtained and installed with a plug and cable from my local hardware store. Generator powers this fan when it's in operation. The fan is very quiet and moves a lot of air, working with an intake vent and fan I have at the base of the other side of my shack, drawing fresh air over the gen set. I run the motor exhaust through an extended flexible pipe out of the shed. Very pleased with this fan.

not good, not bad
Shipping was delayed by a day. Fan arrived in undamaged state and looked "good".As others have said, it seems to be just a tad noisier than a 20in box fan from your neighborhood hardware store. The louvers are nice, and seemed to work well out of the box.1800cfm? no way, probably more like 400. maybe they meant 1800rpm as that's a more plausible spec for this fan. This fan seems to put out about as much airflow as one of those 20in box fansI didn't notice any excessive vibrations (I mean yeah it vibrates a little, it's a fan, that's what they do)For the price it seems to do an ok job, not great, but not bad.Unfortunately this fan doesn't seem to pull much more than the 12in duct fan (with claimed 450cfm) that I'm currently using to ventilate a ~2000sqft area, so I'll have to return this fan.....or maybe they'll give me a discount on a second and see if that gets me closer to the air flow I'm looking for.
