Australian sunscreens are the most rigorously tested so their efficacy is dependable. Yes all mineral sunscreens leave somewhat of a cast unless they’re tinted but the texture in this one is very thin and easily spread. It leaves a moisturized finish BUT it’s not sticky or heavy feeling. It doesn’t even get caught around the roots of my facial hair which is a huge issue for most spf. The white cast lessens as it sets in the skin. This is the spf I wear when I’m home and don’t care about the mineral cast or sheen. Chemical spf can be irritating to use on a daily basis. It’s very easy to apply and comfortable which is what’s most important. It’s also economical!

This is the best sunscreen I have ever used. Kept me from burning while snorkeling for 2 hours. Most other sunscreens I’ve used have washed off and I usually get sunburned. This stuff is great. Also, it did not burn my eyes like most sunscreens do. And it’s reef safe! Love it!!!

Blue lizard sunscreen is just the absolute best for sensitive skin. I am pale with freckles and I don’t burn with this like I do with other sunscreens. Bonus - it is reef safe! No allergic reactions, good smell, and rubs in nicely.

I am using this sunscreen exclusively during my pregnancy because I believe it is the safest option without harmful chemicals found in most others (and it’s also reef safe). It works well and has protected me from sunburn. Although the white film is a little annoying, it’s something I don’t mind dealing with considering the safety aspect.I originally bought the wider bottles (the hard bottle) and they were perfect. For our babymoon, I decided to switch to the thinner squeeze bottles because I thought they may pack better - BIG MISTAKE! The bottles/lids do not do their job of keeping the lotion inside. They leaked sunscreen over our clothes, and once inside a bag with other sunscreens, continued to leak all over the other bottles. They also would just leak sunscreen as I had the bottle open, I’d leave a trail of the liquid on the ground. This has happened with numerous bottles (I bought 3) and was not a one-time faulty cap/lid.I would recommend this sunscreen, especially to pregnant women, but don’t get the squeeze bottle!

Good coverage, great price. Nice and creamy and moisturizing which was a surprise. Little white caste which I do not like but for this price & quality --- yes.

Everyone in my family brought a different sunscreen for our cruise to the Caribbean. We all spent about the same time in the sun and I'm the only one without any sun burns. Solid winner for me.It does leave maybe a very light white cast, and I probably should've applied at least once more during my time out in the sun.This is the only sun screen I'm buying from now on.

Great for my very sensitive skin, absorbs quickly with no residue. Environmentally sound choice as well, required in some areas and on some cruises.

I would give this product zero stars. It was an absolutely terrible experience in every single way. We had to cancel and change plans and purchase new clothing on vacation because this product not only didn't work, we still got sunburned despite following the directions, it ruined our clothing and other items in the process.#1 The tube the product comes in is not well made. I ordered this and the product had leaked out the sealed end of the tube. I returned the defective tube and re-ordered the same thing, thinking it was just a fluke. Much to my dismay, the new tube failed in the exact same way, but this time in my suitcase on vacation. It went all over everything in my toiletries bag and was terrible to try to wash off. It's sticky and hard to remove. It ruined other things in the bag that just had to be thrown away, as well as the bag itself.#2 I bought this because it was reef safe, and I used it my first day of vacation. Applied, and waited 30 min to get dressed, and this product still rubbed off ALL OVER EVERYTHING WE TOUCHED. It never dried or soaked into our skin, it coated our sunglasses and was hard to remove, and it was tough to find something to clean them with because this product ruined everything it touched. It gooped and greased the rental car- the doors and armrest, the screen of the GPS could barely be seen due to the haze from using the touch screen and getting this sunscreen on it. It rubbed off all over our clothing too, it did not protect us from the sun at all- we were still burned due to it not staying on skin, but coming off on everything. It was all over our clothes, swimsuits, and somehow still seemed to be on our bodies and had to be scrubbed off, yet still did not protect us from the sun. My husband broke out in a rash, still got sunburn, and therefore was not able to go out in the sun on this tropical vacation. We had to buy him long pants and long sleeve shirts to cover his skin after the failure of this product. We had to cancel and change plans because he could not be in the sun with his rash. I regret ever purchasing this product, I have no idea how it has so many great reviews, it was nothing but a pain, literally and figuratively.Now I am stain treating multiple items of clothing and swimwear, trying to salvage what I can. Save your money and your sanity- do not buy this product. I only gave it one star because Amazon will not allow a zero star rating. Horrible in every way.
