Everything she touched she made memorable. If I had to pick the best one of the three on offer, it would be Les innocents aux mains sales, which has Chabrol's masterly direction, Romy's superb performance (she's very restrained, having to cope with the ravenous men surrounding her--really a woman in jeopardy) and strong support from Steiger and Rochefort. Le mouton enrage is more of a vehicle for JL Trintignant as he claws his way to the top of society, meeting Romy and Jane Birkin along the way. The weakest film is Mado, in which Romy has only a five minute cameo; it's a dull tale of corruption in the real estate business marred by Sautet's clumsy direction.

Romy Schneider avait beaucoup de talent, elle était sensible, intelligente, avec une grande ouverture d'esprit ... c'est vraiment dommage qu'elle nous a quitté tellement prématurément ...

Plaisir de retrouver cette artiste et des films de qualité. Les auteurs Claude CHABROL - Claude SAUTET et Michel DEVILLE nous tiennent en haleine jusqu'au bout. J'aime

La grande Romy Schneider et tous les autres acteurs qui sont époustouflants dans ces films. Malheureusement, la qualité de l'image n'est pas top : dommage ! C'est vrai qu'actuellement, avec le progrès de l'audio-visuel, on ne supporte plus que la haute définition ! Mais je répète que les acteurs y sont excellents ! Donc, malgré tout, avoir ce coffret est un geste de reconnaissance du 7ième Art.
