Great single tent.

Pros1) if you used a single person tent before it follows that standard design.2) lightweight3) nice bag for transporting4) zipper quality appears solid5) easy to takedown and to setup.6) no issues with some rain (not sure about a storm)7) material quality is pretty good8) adequate room for the size.Cons1) they shipped me the wrong rain fly (outer cover) so I discovered this in the middle of nowhere however I was able to make it work. However I decided to email them on return and they had a quick turn around to sending me the correct rain fly. So they resolved this con.SummaryGreat tent and also great after sales support.

helpful for an affordable and on-the-go tent that is lightweight enough for me

Easy to transport and it has a lot of space for my needs. I use this for hiking and also transporting on my motorbike. It's really easy to put up and I haven't had any rain leakage issues with this. For the price I think it worked out really well for wanting an affordable tent that I can be on the go with. I enjoy the quick setup of the magnetic tent poles. Couldn't really expect much more for the price. I did spray weather treatment over the product like I do for any tent or outdoor item and occasionally recoat just in case.

So far so good….(update after using it in the field)

I just got this tent today and I bought it for a Bushcraft class I’m going to be taking. So I’m no stranger to primitive camping and light weight backpacking. In fact, I’m kind of a gear freak. That said I set it up, but I haven’t actually used it yet. So I’m going off first impressions and I’ll update this once I field test this tent.I bought this tent because it’s similar to the Alps Lynx-1 tent, but at the time I bought it $20-$30 cheaper, with similar reviews. So the tent goes up easy. Set up is straightforward and common sense. My first time setting it up with no instructions took about 3 minutes without even trying to rush. I’m 5’9” and bounce between 195-200lbs. That said, there’s plenty of room for a guy my size to sleep and even sit up in there. It does very much resemble the Lynx-1. The connection for the pole are different than the Lynx-1, but still very straightforward. The tent is free standing and being a minimalist, I only used a total of 4 tent stakes. One on each corner to hold it down, one for the vestibule (which is definitely roomy enough for a pack to be stored in), and one for the back side of the rain fly. What I didn’t like is that I thought I was buying a brand new tent, but this tent has definitely been used. The poles showed signs of wear on them and the floor of the tent had dead bugs and dried grass. This is why I gave the three stars. The tent seems functional enough to me, but when I’m told I’m buying a new item, and pay for a new item, that’s what I expect to get.UPDATE AFTER FIELD TESTING:Ok, so I got a chance to use this tent in the field in Ohio, in early March. I put the tent up in under 3 minutes in the field (after practicing prior to the trip) in the rain with zero issues. The tent stood up strong on a hill top through 12 hours of hard rain. When I went to get in it at night I was pleasantly surprised to find the inside bone dry. After the rain stopped that night there were wind gusts up to 40 mph. There were times I thought the poles were going to snap from the wind, but they did not. Aside from sleeping in it in a hurricane, I’m not sure it could have had a more solid field test. This tent is solid! I would have no issues recommending it to anyone in the future.

Just enough room, packs down small, holds in heat

After using a bivouac type one-man tent, this tent has just enough height to sit up in which is great for setting up just before laying down for the night, or first thing in the morning before emerging from a temporary cave to face the day. There is just enough width for my air mattress, and water bottle and other small stuff on one side. There is also enough room at the head for extras like hat, gloves, sweater caps, etc.I used this tent for bike packing. The poles fold up shorter than my biv one-man tent. So the tent fits better on my rear rack… it sits fully on the rack without hanging over. The overall narrow width makes it easy to put up the tent in the smallest of spaces which opens up more potential placements at camp sites. The ground tarped vestibule is decent sized to keep shoes, jackets, helmet, pannier dry on one half while maintaining an area to get out and stand up. I pack a 5-ft x 8-ft tarp… when folded in half fits pretty well in the covered vestibule area. Great to keep your feet clean and thus the tent, sleeping bag too.The first night I slept in it was warm, so with the tent fully zipped up I was too warm. The next night I slept with the fly unzipped and tied back as shown in the picture. It vented very well. When the temperatures drops, it will be nice to retain more heat zipped up. The fabric is also heavier than some similar tents, which likely adds to the heat retention (and durability). The heavier material is reflected in the weight. At 4-lbs, it’s no lightweight, but is reasonable for the durable fabric. Better IMO than super light, thin fabric. This really is a 3-4 season tent… will be great in the Pacific Northwest where it gets cold, but not frigid as long as I’m below the snow line. The tension straps work super slick. I attach the tie downs to the fly and leave them there, so I just put the loop around the stake, tension the line by sliding the plastic clip towards to tent and lock the cord into the clip. Done. When it comes time to pack up, I just pull the cord down. It unlocks, de tensions and that’s it.There storage pockets on the side and the one overhead is great to put a watch in, glasses, lights, phone, cyclo computer, charger, etc.All in all, it checks the boxes for what I need.☑️ durable and warm☑️ Packs down small☑️ reasonably light weight☑️ big enough, with minimal footprint area☑️ perfect sized covered vestibule area☑️ Inexpensive ( about 40% less than another tent I was considering which was a little lighter (less durable and true 3-season tent)I will have to see how it handles the rain. I do have a footprint for it from a different manufacturer. Fits perfectly and should protect against wet ground. So as long as the fly sheds water well, it should be cozy and dry. I’ll problem seal the seams and spray the fly.

Green 1 person tent looks great!

I bought this used/like new and it looks brand new. No scratches and still crisp. The material is thicker than I thought for the price as honestly I thought I’d end up with a thin, flimsy tent but no it’s built well! Great value for the price. Light weight so I’ll use this for backpacking. It is not roomy because it’s a 1 person tent but there’s room for me (5’3), my backpacking backpack, day pack and bedding. I can sit up easily and if I roll my bedding up I can set up my little camp chair to chill inside otherwise it’s going to be a snug fit for someone taller. I am super happy!!
