My motorcycle has a trickle charger that has a cable connected to the battery. When it would not start one day while not at home I had to remove the faring and seat to get at the battery but had no tools. If this ever happens again I am all set!

These charge cables are a great quality replacement for original set I lost. I could not use my battery charger because I lost my original clamp section of the cables and this new cable is a perfect replacement. I really like the quality of these cables much better than the original set. The welding from the cable to the clamps is very well done. Definitely not a weak point for these. The clamps have very good tension for gripping the battery posts. I also like that the clamps are covered by the plastic caps which keeps them isolated from bumping each other and making accidental contact. Overall great set of charge cables for your charger.

These adaptor cables are sturdy and work well with the portable water pump I use to fill my RV when boondockyng. I also purchased the type with the 12 volt adaptor so if my vehicle is on hand all I need do is plug in.

I was pleased enough with the build of the cable and the quality of the clips. It's not as good as the NOCO cables I have, but will get the job done. The figure of 8 cable can be separated, allowing up to about five feet between the clips. This is useful for getting to the correct (recommended) earth point, as on my Honda vehicle.What concerned me is that the cable is supplied wired as a source. That means its polarity is as if the clips were connected to a power SOURCE for charging a battery, so in order to use it as a longer cable for the chargers I have by Deltron (Battery Tender) and Schumacher, I must connect up the battery IN REVERSE.Make sure to check your use and connections before using this cable.

Four stars because polarity is reversed when using my current charger. Red is negative, black is positive. With that knowledge I can handle it. Looks and feels very strong, I just need some red and black paint or permanent marker.

The overall build quality is good. Clamps gripped the post securely. The gauge of the wire seems decent. One thing to watch for however is that depending upon your application the polarity might be reversed.

I ordered this charge cable for my Optimate battery chargers. The quality seems pretty good and a little more heavy duty but a little bulkier to get on the tighter battery terminals like the 12A-A battery. The reason I gave it 3 stars is as you can see in the photo that I had to reverse the polarity to charge this battery. The product description and pictures show battery chargers, yes it works if you reverse the cables but there's a safety issue with a lot of chargers if you forget to reverse the clamps you can cause a spark that may lead to an explosion, Therefore I don't recommend this product for battery chargers. I also don't recommend modifying a new cable, just order the proper one. I should have looked at the polarity on this cable before I ordered it.
