Great and reliable scale for the money.

Good accuracy and repeatability. Easy calibration. One feature I never thought of having is the counting mode. Place 10, 20, 50, or 100 items that need to be counted in a container on the scale that has been tared, press the count mode, and when the number matching the number in the container shows up, press the button again. With 20 items in the container and 20 showing on the screen, you're set. Take one item at a time out and the scale will reflect the correct number on the screen. Counting nuts, bolts, washers, beads, buttons (so long as they are identical), beans, nails, whatever. Makes counting bulk items into smaller containers a breeze.

Keeps accuracy. Satisfied.

The calibration weight has a hole drilled into it so little beads can be added to get it to weight exactly 500g. The little metal cap that holds those beads in popped out and they went spilling all over the ground so now I have no way of guaranteeing it still weighs exactly 500g.

I received the scale and was surprised at how well it was packed. Once opened, the scale itself was just as described. I haven't worked with it yet for my job, but I did play with it to check it out. It worked wonderful and I'm very pleased with this product.

THE BUTTON FOR "COUNT" is MIXED with supposed function to give you pounds and ounces BUT ONLY BADGERS YOU WITH COUNT. IT does STUPID "AUTO SCROLL" from 10, 20 and 50 count units. It is a display that moves from one topic to another on its own, flashing useless mystery information at you while refusing to give you necessary function such as switch from POUNDS TO OUNCES.I AM SERIOUS SCIENTIFIC USER, AFTER 60 MINUTES CANNOT GET IT TO CHANGE INTO POUNDS AND OUNCES. READ OWNER'S MANUAL CAREFULLY, IT IS FAR TOO SHORT AND IT SAYS NOTHING ABOUT POUNDS AND OUNCES. YOU WILL NEVERR GET IT TO READ POUNDS AND OUNCES AND IF I WASTE ONE WHOLE HOUR TRYING WHO NEEDS THIS, IT IS BAD DESIGN.WASTED MY WHOLE $ 130 I CANNOT USE IT. SO, WILL I RETURN IT ????? NO !!! This scale does not have reverse polarity protection for the backup battery. The first unit I received had the connector wired backwards. Connecting the battery fried the internal voltage regulators instantly. BE CAREFUL TO MAKE SURE THAT THE BATTERY CONNECTOR IN THE SCALE IS WIRED CORRECTLY!UPDATE 2024-Sep-03: The manufacturer was VERY helpful at getting a replacement scale to me. I have now ordered three (3) total units. We use the scale with the Serial Data output port connected to a Raspberry Pi, streaming data to a server instance on AWS. The scale monitors a physical process taking place of a slow weight increase event over a period of time. In our initial testing there does seem to be a small amount of drift when a load is left on the scale for hours, it amounts to 0.10-0.20 grams over an hour or two. It is possible that this is related to electronics warm up time, as is commonly understood in oscilloscopes.Compared to a similar top name scale brand which wanted 60x the price (Yes, sixty times the price!) for an equivalent unit this is more than sufficient for our needs.
