Just what I've been looking for
Wow, I just got this cup and already I ordered a second! This is what I've been looking for, and as you can see, Ive been through quite a few cups! I didn't purchase this because I'm a tree hugger or anything like that. I was just looking for something easy for my child to drink from, without having to try and figure out how to tip it backwards yet and without having to bite the straw to get any liquid out. The flow is not too fast to choke him either at 10 months old. He seems to do well with it. I like that there aren't a ton of parts to clean when it comes to the straw. It's all silicone and one piece, which makes it easy. I also like that the bottom of the bottle detaches to make for good cleaning. I would definitely recommend this cup.

My toddlers favorite cup
Everything comes apart and it wasn’t hard to get it reassembled. I do need to check that the bottom is screwed on securely but no problems with leaking when the bottom is screwed on correctly. It has been dropped/thrown with out breaking. There will be a little leaking from the nipple when dropped but just a drop or two. Overall a great cup for toddlers.

Perfect for little hands | Green sprouts Sprout Ware Sip & Straw Cup
Convenient, leak-proof, and easy to use cup perfect for toddlers transitioning out of their sippies or 360s and into straw cups. It did also come with a top for sippy use, but we didn't need it. This cup is heavy, but I like that as it is also somewhat insulated and keeps drinks a little colder a little longer than our regular 360s.The one thing I will say is that when this is dropped on a toe, there are definitely a lot of tears afterwards - but it only happened once or twice until my kiddo learned not to let it happen again, so there's that. I find the cup relatively easy to clean with the exception of the straw portion, but I assume any straw cup that didn't have any leaking issues would also have a straw that would be relatively restrictive and difficult to clean. Lid stays screwed on tightly with no leaks or weak spots even when dropped or thrown. Handles are removable, so I just went without them from day one and my kiddo took to it no problem. She is 16 months, though, and age makes a difference in whether or not kids will need the sip spout or straw on this cup, and same for the handles. It's great that the cup is so versatile; I wish I'd have found this forever ago but I'm thrilled to have it now.I am so happy with this cup I ended up ordering 3 more at full price and switching my kiddo over to them completely. She took to it right away and we both are happy with the choice. Very much recommended!

Leaky bottom
Update: changed from 3 stars to 1 star because I can no longer get the bottom to screw on properly, so it basically won't hold water at all anymore! Again -- why the removable bottom?! It renders the otherwise-great cup totally useless.I purchased this cup because it was one of the few straw cups on the market with handles. Unfortunately, this cup has a major design flaw: it has a removable bottom. No matter how tightly it's screwed on, it leaks pretty badly. I'm not sure what the point of the removable bottom is, since every other cup or bottle we own is one piece and is not difficult to clean with a bottle brush. The removable bottom just seems really dumb and unnecessary, and I look forward to moving on from this cup once my kid doesn't require handles anymore. He also likes to chew the straws off, though fortunately I've been able to buy replacements from the Green Sprouts website. Apart from these complaints, the cup is well made from quality materials and hasn't broken when it has fallen or been thrown.
