Q: Is your powder more shelf-stable than the liquid concentrates?

Hello!👋 It's hard 🤔 to answer this question only because there are many other liquid concentrates or bubble solutions; without knowing their makeup 👨🔬 it's hard to say🤷♂️. Unlimited Bubbles Powder Concentrate is typically stable for 2 years from the date 🗓of manufacturing. You will find the expiration date on the bottom of the bottle. At the time of this writing our current batch that's available on Amazon expires 01/23. Hope that's helpful.🌻

Q: Do I really have to use distilled water and what kind of dish soap do you recommend? Does the soap really matter?

Your question is just as great as the ones that preceded you! No. We found the best results using distilled water and Dawn but, you can use tap water and any dish soap. We don't recommend any citrus style detergent like lemon or orange as they cause the bubble to pop quickly. And lavender. Stay away from lavender.

Q: Does this solution need anything else to make it work?

That's an Excellent Question! While tap water and ordinary dish soap can be used, we recommend distilled water and ultra Dawn! Bubbles are fragile; water that has the least amount of impurities are best with non citrus soap.

Q: Does the bubbles stick to the ground? Are they slip resistant?

Once you add the soap and water to this the solution is still primarily soapy water. Like any other solution if you are blowing bubbles in one location for a period of time as the bubbles pop you are going to end up with solution accumulating in the area. This solution aka additive, does create a bit stronger longer lasting bubble that floats threw the air nicely, but with repeated use over the same location you are most likley going to end up with a slick spot. I personally love product, being able to make bubbles that smell good and work great threw my machines is awsome for outdoor events, but I don't use it indoors or over a slick surface for safety.
