I used it as soon as I got it earlier this evening and I love it. I make caramels during the holidays and this is a huge improvement over my old digital thermometer. The display is big and easy to read. Not that I anticipate needing it much but the backlight is bright and adds an easy to read contrast. Like I said I've only used it once but it seems accurate. I got the temp numbers I was expecting once the caramel started to boil. The included pot clip is solid and kept the thermometer in place while I cooked. The only complaint I have and it's not a deal breaker is that the backlight button seems real sensitive . It seemed like it didn't take much to accidentally turn the light on. A worthwhile investment if you are looking for a thermometer that is easy to read. If you know anyone that has a hard time seeing and likes to cook, this is perfect for them.

So much easier to read than the old analog thermometers. The probe is long which is great for deep pots but it is a little top heavy in a shallow pan. The clip is strong enough to hold it steady though.

Very accurate, easy to use, nice product

I just replaced my old Candy Therm with the ThermoPro TP510 Waterproof Digital Candy Thermometer. So far, this works pretty well. It has a stronger clip when attached to pot. Definitely, doesn't move around while stirring. The display screen is much larger than my old Therm. Definitely, a plus. The display can also backlight for a ew seconds at the touch of the button. This helps a lot.

It has a long probe, but very tight clamp for attachment to pot. That’s a good thing since it can be used in almost any pot/pan you own. Easy to read digital display.probe is very sturdy…no bending. Seems accurate given that I just made marshmallows and they came out great.
