Don't use ASUS images, use Armbian experimental

I think the cost is way too high for the size of the community (very small). In my opinion the Khadas4 is likely a better but in that regard. That hat being said, I have managed to make the board work well for my purposes, but ended up using an experimental Armbian build (Jammy with 5.19 kernel) that can be found on GitHub/rpardini then installing Gnome via tasksel once I was booted up into the CLI. To my pleasant surprise, the most bleeding edge GPU drivers for the Mali T860 were in use and so I'm running Ubuntu 22.04 with minimal added effort. This took some time and effort to find, but in my opinion, Armbian is superior to the Asus builds if only for the better GPU support.Again subtract 1 star because of the lack of community and open source support, but otherwise it's been a good experience

Solid device, limited os/software updates

The good:Solid n powerful. Unit performance is decent. Good documentation/wiki/forum availability. Plenty of usability options. The bad:Limited or outdated OS supportDevelopment seems to have died off on the Tinker Board 2 series specifically, but the Asus dev team did update the Debian 10 image last month.

Junk. Only runs old 4.19 kernel

This board is junk. Is not in mainline u-boot, incapable of running a modern 5.xx linux kernel. Nothing works except some hacked together Debian build that is completely out of date
