Small price - big value!
I have floor vents in my house and they filled up with water due to all the flooding (I'm in Oklahoma). I needed something more than my shop vac that I could only do 5 gallons at a time. This little machine was a god-send! I was afraid it would be too complicated to set up, but the instructions were easy to follow and I had it up and running in 5 minutes. Just a couple things to keep in mind......there is no on/off switch, so you will have to plug/unplug the unit. Also it probably shouldn't be left running for more than 15-20 minutes as the outside of the unit gets hot. Other than those I would highly recommend this product (for small drainage projects).

Small but mighty
This IS the little pump that could!! Saved my basement after my sub pump went out. I used vegetable oil as a primer per the directions. When I first turned it on it was spewing a bit of water. There is a tiny piece of rubber right behind the motor that spins. I pushed it back in towards the motor and after that, when I turned it on, it worked like a monster champion with no leaks. I guess that little piece of rubber needed to create a seal. This pump worked impressively in comparison to its size.

Small pump that isn't too bad
I've been using this to pump water out of a large rain water cistern and down a hose, to water my garden. It does the job perfectly fine. It doesn't give the highest water pressure ever, but it's enough to water with. As for the noise - it's not too bad. It's certainly not silent - a bit of a high pitch whine, but nothing crazy.

Bad Value
Used a total of 3x to drain a 300 gallon spa. On the 4th start up w/lube, it failed. All other times it operated I had to provide lube and the pump got very hot. Bad value.

Good for Water Transfer
This product was received in new condition and free of damage. I have used the pump 3 times since receiving it. My use is water transfers between rain barrels and using water from rain barrels to a sprinkler. Each time the pump has worked up to my expectations. I am also oiling the pump between uses to mitigate the possibility of rusting of parts. I recommend this product.

I'm very happy I bought this pump!
This pump is perfect for my needs! It has great pressure, far exceeding my expectations! A great little pump for the money and has a lot of power. This pump will literally fit in the palm of your hand but pumps like it's a pump four times it size!

Works but it’s loud
Used this as a recirculating pump for a pool heater. Threw a long black hose on my neighbors roof in the summer time. Real hot days, plug this in and you would really be surprised the temp difference.. redneck pool heater that was ok. But the pump was really loud. I put the pool closer to my neighbors house so we could slide off the roof and built a play house with a slide into the pool as well. This pumped worked to turn our pool into a water park for pretty cheap. The pump was so loud though the neighbors would unplug it when I left it on and no one was enjoying the pool. I covered it with a bucket and a mat and you couldn’t even hear it. When it came time to drain the pool I hooked up the pump.. it took 2 days. Idk what was the deal, it had good flow, maybe it’s just a big pool..? I thought it drained faster on its own last year. Decent pump but be prepared for the noise
