I created a bog for my carnivorous plants with this, spaghum peat moss, spaghum moss, carnivorous soil, and lava rocks. The sand is a bit heavy so it was mixed with the peat moss and created the perfect drainage for these guys. My pitcher plant took the transplant beautifully. The moss keeps these guys damp but not soaking wet. It feels like seaweed that's been dried and then slightly dampened, or wet cardboard. It expands quite a bit when it's wet. It was a bit messy, but easy to clean up with a vacuum. Overall, it works well for this project and well worth the money.

I purchased this for bedding for my turtle who is brumating, the product is good quality. The bag was smaller than expected but the contents spread out really well, just follow the instructions. I got It on sale so overall good value!

I did like the quality and the quantity it comes in the bag for your money it's worth it, but beware it does have some big parts you need to separate them is a little messy and some are hard to separate by hand otherwise is great quality

I couldn't get over how it smells.... I rinsed it but it's too much work to get rid of the vinegar smell.

Cheap , gets the job done. I love putting it ontop of my plants. The bag is bigger then expected. Great color and quality
