Hurrah to Petra Tools for a well made product. I spent 2.5 hours using a hand pump sprayer to spray weeds and poison ivy in my yard/woods. My arm was killing me from constantly having to stop and pump up my old 3 gallon sprayer. I purchased a Petra 4 gallon battery backpack or rolling cart sprayer. I put it together myself with some help tightening the handle. I primed it (after finding a video about what exactly that meant). I had a lot of fun spraying the dishwashing liquid and water mixture while testing all the 6 spray nozzles. It was so easy to use. Some of the nozzles can reach pretty far. Realistically, I will probably only use 3 of the nozzles. I decided to wash all my outside decorations while I was priming and testing the sprayer. I use the cart feature. It rolls great, is well balanced and sturdy. I will never use the backpack as I am a senior and the weight would be too much for me to carry. It sprays out fast with no pumping, yeahhhhh! I have 2 small issues - couldn’t tighten the plastic handle enough to keep it from turning occasionally and the plastic before the nozzle attachment loosens over time and has to be tightened. Overall a nice product. Next time I spray my weeds etc., it should only take about 30 minutes (and no sore arm).

I bought this sprayer back in late March and have been using it for commercial work and it's been doing really well. Recently I had an issue with the battery losing its charge but I emailed Petra tools and talked to Anne and the customer service was a lot better than I expected. she helped me out, got my battery working again and really took the time to solve my problem. it's a good sprayer and the customer service can't be beat

The reason I bought this sprayer was because my old one always burned up the battery. Even though my old one held 6 gallons, I bought this smaller 4 gallon tank. Was so excited for this new sprayer to spray the weeds in my drive, walk and around the flower gardens. First time using, the handle fell off 4 times, once at the bottom and 3 times at the top. Seems like the plastic twist on does not connect well. Every time the tank fell over the weed killer gushed out of the top screw on top even though it has a rubber seal. Luckily it was in the driveway so it didn't matter, otherwise I would have had big dead spots of grass on the lawn. Would be much better if the handle had a click-in mechanism. Finally got the handle to stay on for the rest of my spraying. Second the metal nut connecting the hose to the tank at the bottom kept coming loose and spewing fluid even though my husband applied the plumber's tape. Third, I could not adjust the pressure coming out of the sprayer even though I used the knob on the side of the tank. I wanted a lighter pressure in my flower gardens so that I could spot spray the weeds instead of it coming out forcefully and spraying on my flowers. One other thing I didn't like is that the gallon measuring marks are on the opposite side of where you fill the tank. I ended up taking a Sharpie and marking the numbers on both sides of the tank so that I could see the gauges. Overall it got the job done and I am anxious about using it again.

4 gallons seems like the right amount for a backpack sprayer. I’m 74 and used to backpack a lot. But between the sprayer and the 4 gallons of solution it’s roughly 50 pounds full. Good thing it came with a rolling cart mount as that is what I use. I I fully understand the reasoning for the SLA (sealed lead acid) battery as they are widely available and there is not much of a weight difference with lithium ion batteries at that voltage. I have used both the (full power) switch and the adjustable knob. Both are useful in different situations. My only suggestion is that the nozzle end of the hose could use reinforcement to prevent kinking over time. Other than that small flaw I would recommend this sprayer. Plenty of pressure, extendable wand and several different spray heads.

The sprayer was delivery very quickly and I was excited to put it to use. However, after two gallon of spraying the pump just stopped working. I gave Nathan from customer service a call. He worked with me to trouble shoot but in the end we could not fix the issue. After trying everything, Nathan agreed to ship out a new sprayer and paid to ship the the broken one backI received the replacement very quickly. Since receiving the new sprayer I haven’t had any issues. It works better than expected and I could not be happier.Thank you Nathan you for working with me and ensuring customer satisfaction.
