This is a big pretty headband that looks like a crown.

I am a tall woman, 5ft 11in BWH 43-33-42 183lb, with a big head, 7 3/4 band, and typical plastic head bands stretch to their limit and hurt. This band is flexible, padded soft, and has wide ends to prevent pressure points. I can wear it all day and night. Well made with quality materials. The style is classical "mantle" of my ancestors and updated to modern tastes. I love it and purchased several more of this brand in their many different finishes.

So I got lots of compliments on this super glitzy gold headband at my family Christmas party. Here’s the thing: it was pretty snug on my big-ish head so I took a chance and gently cracked it on the top and sides AND IT WORKED. It then fit my head perfectly and was completely comfortable to wear all day. I’m not sure what gives it structure on the inside, but I was able to crack it just a smidge and it held together. There weren’t separated pieces or anything. It’s a gamble, so use caution if you do try this at home. But for me, the risk was worth it to avoid a glamour headache.
