screw like a light bulb - so can be used anywhere. Operates by remote control only. LED lights, VERY bright. Fan really moves air, surprisingly. We have one in a hallway and one in the kitchen over the sink.I'm very impressed with this little light fixture/fan. It's smaller, so don't expect the fan to move air like a big fan. Has timer for light and fan. VERY energy efficient.Finally, its adjustable, can be moved to face differnet directions. This would be good for lower ceiling fixture if you are using for the fan option only. Like a personal fan next to a bed, etc. Can be used with a table lamp.

Was smaller than expected (my fault for not checking the size) but works good as a ceiling fan/light for my office. Also it was missing the center piece that holds the air freshener in. Lastly the range on the remote is very limited. Seems like it has to be within 2ft of it to work.

This worked for about 3 weeks. It started to make noise and then stopped. Remote failed, no fan and no light. Flimsy plastic. Not worth the money.

Have only had this a short time so don't know how well it will hold up. After a issue with its installation, which didn't expect due to it screwing in the socket, it basically does what I needed it to do, provide some cooling in a hall bathroom that had no cooling. But the remote, which you need to operate the fan, is very poor, and the fan/light does not hold the previous settings. I don't expect the remote to last very long as it already doesn't always work when you push the buttons,or doesn't do what it us supposed to. I really need another remote, because the fan is in place now, and I would rather not send it back. Still have a few days to decide. I wish these companies would put some more effort into making better, more substantial remotes, as this isn't the first time I've had this kind of issue. Bottom line is the fan works Ok, the lights work partially ok, but the remote is a very definite weakk spot.

I put this in my walkin closet. It's bright and moves air well.

For the price, I wasn’t sure what to expect but this little fan has just enough power to keep air circulating in our dining room. Could be more attractive tho.

Purchased 06/16/24, worked great for my desk lamp and fan. In 06/26/24, starts smoking and blew out. Upon checking it for user error I noticed black marks. It had started smoldering to the point it burnt its wires all the way through. Luckily I didn’t use it in my ceiling. I’m lucky to have been home at that time. Amazon worked with me to refund the item. I don’t know if this is a one off issue but I think it would be morally unacceptable if I didn’t warn consumers.

For it's size it moves air pretty good especially if you are sitting directly under it

The media could not be loaded.  The fan seems to work fine. The air is really directed solely where the fan is pointed (which works fine for us, since the intention was to point it towards the top bunk bed). Everything works as advertised, and I have not tried the aromatherapy scent tab yet.Just incredibly disappointed with the way the package arrived.
