We purchased this phone for our kids to use in case of an emergency. We were easily able to program phone numbers in it and our kids are loving being able to call their grandparents and other family members on their own. We’ve had the phone for a few months now and so far it’s working great for both making and receiving calls. It also gives us peace of mind to have a landline our kids can easily access in the event of an emergency.

My mom has dementia and I had to have all our numbers typed up for her but then she started struggling with how to dialNow with picture one touch button and the big numbers she can now call us with easeSo thankful to have found this phoneI recommend it to anyone with elderly parentsEven kids find it fun going by the pictures

After having purchased other models which had to be returned, I had low expectations that anyone made a big-button phone with decent audio. And let's face it - the only reason to have a phone is for the audio! This one was easy to install, and the handset audio is great - on both ends of the call. It's not Bose, but for the price it is good sound. The speaker is marginal at best, so if a speakerphone is a must you may have to keep looking. But it still ended up better than the other 2 or 3 we tried in this price range.

Wife got one, set it up with Cell2Jack, she likes the speed dial buttons. The ring is loud, and the flashing light is a nice extra.However, when she switches the phone over to speaker, it is no where near 80db it claims to be, we have the volume slider all the way up, perhaps the unit is defective.The speaker however is decently loud IF she removes the handset, the speaker design is located right below the handset, and they have a foam pad on the handset, so that muffles down the volume quite a bit.She uses the speaker phone part most of the time, so she had me tape down the 'receiver' button, and she just leaves the handset off the base. Not exactly ideal, but it works.She is on the hunt for one with more quick-dial buttons and a better speaker phone option.The handset IS decently loud when used normally.

Easy to use for my mom with dementia and loud ring tone.

There is nothing to dislike about this phone. This was bought for our father whose fingers don't work well with buttons. And also he needed a padding for the phone handle.The features are big. Buttons to dial or if you can't do that they have 3 slots for pictures of the person you want to call quickly. This has given him so much more freedom ! And not having to call in an aid to help him pic up the receiver or dial for him has been a game changer with this phone!It also has a light in the corner that flashes red if the phone is ringing for the hearing impaired.I'd say over all I would say this was a home run for our father !

There are several things I like about this phone.** To answer it, you either pick up the handset or press the "speaker" button. Same for making a call.** 2nd, there are 3 preset call buttons with options to insert a picture!** 3rd, you can use a headset with this phone by plugging in a adapter to the handset RJ9 (?) connection. Seniors don't have to hold the handset NOR does everyone have to hear the conversation!

The phone itself is lightweight and the large numbers are wonderful. Hand piece easy to hold due to the neoprene sleeve. When I assembled it, I accidentally plugged in one of the ends of the phone cord into the Fax slot but the phone did ring when someone called and was able to communicate. After realizing this, I corrected the connection but no change (PS... VERY hard to see button settings). However, was unable to program the one touch speed dial as the "Store" button did not work nor could I dial out the regular way because there was a constant dial tone. No Customer Service phone number so I emailed..... took 2 day to respond. In the meantime, I returned to the Verizon store where I needed to buy a $100 modem to plug the landline into as no more wall plugging since the modem uses cells to operate. The Verizon agent somehow fixed the phone quickly and now it works. But, I have to say, the loudness option for my hard of hearing mom on the handset is not that great. She still doesn't hear the caller well. Good for 911 calls though.

Great telephone for my elderly brother. He finds it easier to use and manage than a typical phone. Large numbers are helpful.

My mother is in her 90’s and is hard of hearing and has mascular degeneration and can’t see well. They instituted the area code be dialed with the phone number and she just couldn’t dial the numbers quick enough and the call wouldn’t go through . This was a safety concern for us as she is still living alone but wouldn’t be able to call us if needed. We were able to put three contacts on her phone that all she would need to do is push one button - worked great and easy to program. I find the phone really loud but works perfectly for her as she is so hard of hearing. Would recommend for seniors.

The handset doesn’t work. The volume is so low, you can’t hear the dial tone, and there is no volume control for it.

Phone developed severe interference issues so loud it can’t be used. Had very little use. Very disappointed!!! Filed a complaint and the company reached out immediately. They offered a replacement or repair. Very happy with their service and response.
