Laptop came in a nice bubble wrap packaging, came with a charger and the laptop. First impressions were good, no major damage to the chassis, refurbished rating seemed accurate. On closer inspections there were minor signs of wear, scuffs and scratches, but all of them were small. I found out a while later that there was actually a textured cover on the lid of the laptop, and while this wasn't in the listing I didn't mind it at all. Laptop booted just fine and had a full battery, charger worked, and the laptop inside looked great. But then I noticed the track pad was a little sticky. So I put some rubbing alcohol on it and wiped it away and noticed the edges of the puddle were darker than the spot I had cleaned. Came to find out the laptop was frankly disgusting, and definitely hadn't been cleaned since 2019. The entire inside if the laptop, especially the keyboard, was caked in grease, and the track point was literally crusted with gunk. Took hours of drenching it in alcohol to get it mostly clean. Another issue I found was the charger, while being 90w which is over spec for this laptop and was very nice, had an odd adapter to allow for it to be used on a USB-C laptop. Discovered this adapter lowered the power output enough to make using it with a dock unviable. The listing also stated the computer had a backlit keyboard, but after some research, I found out it didn't. I contacted the seller and they were willing to send me an eBay listing and enough money to cover buying a replacement keyboard, which I was thrilled about. They did a great job responding and were direct and kind. I did end up returning the laptop, not because of any of the above issues, but simply because it wasn't powerful enough for what I needed to do. If you plan to do any amount of 3D gaming with any relatively modern games, any Intel chip below gen 10 isn't going to cut it. I got a Think pad T14 instead of this for the AMD chip in it, which has a far better iGPU. Apart from that, screen looked good after some color correction, the CPU was plenty powerful enough to handle simple tasks like browsing and managing files, and the speakers were surprisingly good, with an impressive capable volume. Overall I'd say its worth it for the money if you're looking for a good, portable work laptop, but nothing beyond that. And I recommend contacting the seller if you have any issues, they're very receptive.

The laptop arrived in excellent condition. This laptop is upgradable to windows 11 . The ssd and memory are also upgradeable. The laptop is thin and light with a great keyboard and ports. The only issue I had was the first power supply shipped was 45 watts vs 65 watt, and it failed shortly. Customer service at "COMPUTER DEAL USA", was excellent and responsive to the issue and quickly arrange to remedy the issue. I highly recommend the laptop and the seller.

The refurbished product works well, as described, however the adhesive cover applied to the inside, covers the mouse pad as well and with large texture it seems a bit unnatural. This is a professionally refurbished.

It looked perfect, but they sent it to me with a flickering screen. I Googled possible solutions, but nothing worked.

Ordered a T490, received a T490s model. This is an even more compact model. Very similar specs, only the one I received had a 1080 HD touch screen and a 512 Gb SSD instead of 256Gb, which is nice. Drawback of the T490s is that you can't upgrade it because everything is intergraded/soldered to the system board (memory, wireless card). But the I7 intel processor is fast and 16 Gb memory is enough for the work I need it for. I did add a 4G LTE card (FiboCom L850-GL; antennas are already installed) and a 1Tb Micro SD card for even more storage (has a slot like an Android phone that holds both a sim card and a Micro SD card). The aftermarket power adapter that came with it was too weak to charge it. So I did have to get a better unit for that (charges via USB-C). Another disadvantage of the 'S' model is that to keep it smaller the standard ethernet port is replaced with a smaller connector for which you need a special adapter to connect to a standard RJ45 cable (but the adapter is cheap). Very pleased with the laptop overall.

The laptop came in perfect working condition. MicroDeal's customer service team is excellent. Ben from MicroDeal helped me activate the TMS 2.0 so I could upgrade the operating system to Windows 11. Highly recommend and will buy from MicroDeal again.

This laptop has exceeded my expectations. It looks brand new and functions like it is. Wiped it, installed Linux and it just flies. Very happy with my purchase.

I purchased a Lenovo T490 with 16gb of RAM, 256gb of HDD and an i7 8665u. I got a Lenovo T490s with 16gb of RAM, 512gb of HDD and an i7 8565u.T490 has upgradable ram, the T490s does not. The T490 has an rj45 port, the T490s does not. These are not factors that I am concerned with. My one future concern was buying a larger internal HDD, they game me one. The case quality on the T490s is also better than the T490. Again, something in my favor.In my unique case, this error does not bother me because I got a better product for my needs, than I ordered, and the condition of the product is near perfect! So I am super happy 😁 I lost features that I didn't need and got features I wanted, even trade.However, if you ordered a product you should get what you ordered and not something else. I could see how other buyers could become upset.Comparable does not mean the same in the tech sphere. If I bought this T490 to upgrade the ram and have a dedicated lan line, then this product would not meet my requirements.I should rate this one star because the product is wrong.I want to rate is 5 star because it's the product I needed in amazing condition!So let's settle for 3.
