INEXPENSIVE AND AWESOME!!! WHAT'S NOT TO LOVE??
I am redoing my teenage son's bedroom and well... Life is Expensive!! So, when I find a great deal and an amazing product, I feel compelled to tell others!! I was hesitant at first because this paper is super thin BUT honestly, it is soooooooooo easy to work with!! The matte finish camouflages any imperfections your wall may have. And these are mega wallpaper rolls!! At an affordable price!! I'm a prime member too, so shipping was immediate and within three days I had a happy son. I highly recommend this paper!!!

A little thin, but I still love the color.
The media could not be loaded. There are definitely pros and cons to this contact/wall paper. I think my video explains them, but I will highlight them here as well. An absolute pro is just how much you get in a single roll! Over 300 feet is enough to do almost any project! I have a pretty long desk, and after years of use, there is definitely peeling on the surface, so I thought this would be a great option to line the top of my white desk. As far as application goes, I made sure to clean my desk thoroughly and then wipe it down with some rubbing alcohol I put on a rag so I got up any oils. It wasn’t explicitly stated to do so in the instructions, but since I use this desk a lot for everything from school work for my masters, my hair and make-up every morning for work, and for my hobbies like drawing and painting…I knew there would be residues. So if you are lining something like that, it may be a good idea to wipe it down so the sticky side has no reason not to have a perfect adhesion to the surface. I also only exposed just enough of the sticky side as I needed and made sure it was where I wanted it to be before continuing…this is also a great way to minimize or even eradicate bubbles. I have ZERO bubbles on my desk thanks to this method. I also use a small blade to trim the ends. My con is really just the thinness of it. I had a spot on my desk where the white had peeled off, and you can clearly see that underneath the green. I may just add another layer, to see if two would cover it…but it may need three. Honestly, that is my only complaint. It’s been a week or two since I placed it on my desk an dI have NO pealing and only one snag from my cats claw which is so tiny, it is barely noticeable. Again, I might just add another layer. Honestly, this is a true bargain for how much you get! Even with the thinness, it is well worth it in my opinion.

Nice but hard to put on wrinkle free
Nice but hard to put on wrinkle free. The guiding lines are very helpful to measure and cut. The sheet is rather thin, so it was hard to stick without wrinkles. For smaller or more forgiving surfaces, this product will be great but if you need to cover a larger area with perfection, I imagine you would have a difficult time getting your job done. I used it to cover the top of a small console so worked out well for me.

Yes and no.
So first off this roll has a lot of paper, if I would not have messed up my first three cuts I would have had enough to to two large top cabinets, 3 tier, and my super deep bottom cabinet with paper to spare. It’s easy to install, sticks well. My dislikes about it, the thickness is not even close to where is like for it to be realistically, also for being black the color was not deep or bold enough for my liking, kinda dull if you ask me, but I mean it works for what I needed it to.

Use as Shelf Liner
This is a great product to use as shelf liner. This is not a good product to use as wall paper, as it is too thin, and will not look professional after application. I know stick on wallpaper is not professional, but there are some good ones out there that fool you until you get up close. This is not that.As a shelf liner this is a good value with the amount of paper in this roll. It’s easy to wipe clean. It sticks well, and can be removed without damage. The color is the photos is accurate, and having a flat color did you better as a shelf liner than a pattern.

Nice paper, not for dry erase
I wanted to try this as a substitute for a whiteboard. It wasn’t a good replacement as it smeared. However, when used for its intended use, it’s a nice contact paper to line drawers, etc.

Shelf-liner quality - thin, medium sticking, doesn't scratch, easy seams, best coverage price.
In the design world what is said of wallpaper is, "it covers a multitude of sins." So, if you have a wall with some imperfections that you want to cover over with a nice solid vinyl accent area, this is for you.It is thin like shelf-liner, so although bumps may show more easily than a thicker vinyl wallpaper, this darker color will not show shadows in the surface underlying texture.I've included two photos -- one showing the roll so you can see what it looks like as light reflects off of it at different angles, and the second photo is two pieces that I have but one against the other for a seam. It was easy enough to do, but I suspect that if you wanted to overlap a little bit it wouldn't make much difference because it is thin.I took the point of sharp scissors and tried to scratch it to see if white would show through if it is scratched, but it doesn't -- look closely at the right piece of the two together to see it.It sticks very well but it is possible to pull off with some effort, not like others that either don't pull off at all, or don't stick enough to stay on the wall.Since I wanted to cover a wall with a nice gray and didn't want to pay that much, this one is a good choice for me because it is the most reasonable priced self-stick wallpaper I could find.//////////////I think the best way to review this is by comparison. I have purchased four similar items, each are very good suited for different purposes. This product:#1 Smooth vinyl solid color - Gray sample on the bottom.Thinnest of all the four comparisons.Cheapest of all $0.18/ sq ft.Medium stickiest factor, unlikely that edges would probably peel up if rubbed against assuming applied to hard wood, shelf, furniture, or wall./Other Three comparisons:#2 The Black Triangle sample is this product, the others are for comparison. Note that I have pulled and stretched it in one spot that is noted.Stretches Very stretchy for curves and shaped surfaces.$2.50/ sq ft (most expensive)Lowest stickiness, edges would probably peel up if rubbed against. Probably needs to be sewn down at the edges. Covering a box or wood furniture, shelf, or wall accent is probably the best use for this.Second thickest of these four – thinner than the brown vinyl patch.Appears to be completely water repellent./#3: The thickest Brown Leather patch: Top-right photostretched it in one spot that is noted.Looks like plastic vinyl leather.Thickest of all the four comparisons. Most expensive at $2.85/ sq ft.Medium stickiness, edges would probably peel up if rubbed against. Probably needs to be sewn down at the edges.Covering a seat with the edges folded under and stapled would probably the best use for this.Thickest of these four.Appears to be completely water repellent./#4 Nice thick textured vinyl solid color - Olive Green sample on the left.Third thinnest of all the four comparisons -- thicker than shelf paper but thinner than leather patch.Cheaper than leather patch but more expensive than shelf-paper $1.15/ sq ft.Highest stickiest factor, unlikely that edges would probably peel up if rubbed against assuming applied to hard wood, shelf, furniture, or wall.Covering a box, furniture, shelf, or wall accent, like the back wall of bookshelves where sculpture or decorative items are displayed is probably the best use for this.Appears to be completely water repellent.Covering a box, furniture, shelf, or wall accent and of course, in the bottoms of drawers is probably the best use for this.Appears to be completely water repellent.
