Works good
Takes some getting used to, things slide all over the place and fall out but after some practice I was able to do a lot of flaring without any leaks on 4 unit minisplit.

1/4 tube slips in die
All sizes of tubing works fine until you get to the 1/4 size. 1/4 slips, I had to wrap the tube before it would grip

Doesn’t work on 1/4” flares!
This is the kind of tool, where it works, or it doesn’t… it can do the larger diameter flares ok, but the 1/4” flares it simply can’t. I’ve tried it literally 50+ times, with various techniques and subtle changes, and it just doesn’t get it right. You are spending double on a product that isn’t really better than the cheapo one. The 1/4” die somehow is too small and pinches the outside of the line and makes a ridge on both sides of the tubing.
