More than a doll
Have this doll to my (adopted) granddaughter for Christmas (she's 7). She went to everyone and told them all about her and finished with, "and she looks like me!"My heart grew 18000 sizes that day. Thank you.I just purchased her a second one as congratulations for being tested for the gifted program. I want her to remember where she came from (1st generation immigrants from Liberia and Guinea) while she sets her sights o on where she's going.

Colorful, Bright, Beautiful
Very beautiful doll. Clothing is gorgeous & a very nice quality. A very good buy for the price. The doll is articulated making her easy to pose for photos.Sheβs a regular height for fashion dolls. She can fit the popular brand of doll clothes such as Barbie, Naturalista & Latinista.

Nice doll, just needs a bit more refinement
The doll is easy to remove from the box. The dress wrap is held down by one plastic tab and left two tiny holes once removed. The body has 6 points of articulation: head, shoulders, elbows, wrists, hips, and knees. The body also resembles early Mattel Fashionista bodies. It is very light and sounds hollow inside. The left elbow joint on mine is extremely loose and floppy. The hands look unfinished and have some of the molding still showing. The articulation allows the doll to do a variety of poses and sit nicely. The dress fabric is pretty and thick but wrinkles easily. It is easy to take on and off with the velcro on the back. The hair is unfortunately polypropylene. It is very soft but also prone to flyaways. Polypropylene hair does degrade over time. The earrings are not removable. The head wrap is attached to her head by two plastic ties. The pink purse seems out of place but it can open and close. The head is extremely hard. Much harder than a Barbie head. Her faceup is pretty and not at all pixelated but the right eye is smaller and less defined than the right. The included cards are absolutely awesome and educational!Overall, this doll is very nice but the poly hair and hollow body do not warrant the high retail price. The creator did put a lot of thought and love in these dolls and hopefully they do become popular.
