Doesn’t work
Bought it hoping to save some time and money. But didn’t work the way it was intended to. Waste of money

It works but...the transponder chip is separate.
The transponder chip is sent in the package with the smart key but it is not housed inside the plastic key housing. It is weird. I was able to program the key to start my 2013 Ford Focus Titanium with the help of the Universal EZ Installer (separate purchase from Amazon). I did not have to go to a locksmith, which saved me a lot of time and money. I just don't understand why the transponder key is separate. I'm concerned about losing it because it is so small.

Works perfectly
I took it to the local locksmith and he was able to program it for my Maverick. Works perfectly and makes a great spare key. Way more affordable than getting one through the dealer, who wanted over $200 for a key. If you need a spare, this is a no brainer.
