Excellent product
I used this at Pioneer Day as a panning for gold trough. It was a huge hit.

Wasn't for us
For what you pay, the unit is built on the cheap side. It does have some sharp edges, and our animals prefer to feed from their wall hanging feeder instead of this. We tried switching this to the chickens but it's too large and they end up climbing on it and laying their droppings in the feed. When we put hay into it, it rained, and we ended up with a mess. Can't use it for a water trough because it would not be able to hold the water. I tried several different uses and ultimately, it is in the "maybe get rid of pile".

An OK feeder. Unfinished sharp edges are a hazard to people and could be to livestock.
This feeder is identical to another one I have in shape and size, but this one has a lighter coating on the metal and all edges are unfinished. The main problem I have with it is that some of these edges are rough or sharp enough to scratch or cut. My other feeder had rubber edging over these areas. The body of this feeder comes in two halves, and fortunately there is an extra supporting leg right under this seam, but it makes for extra work during assembly and probably more screw holes for rust to start. This feeder will be serviceable but I would not buy it again.
