I use the USB 3.0 port on a regular basis for work and its great t o get the fast transfer speed. The build quality is great and feels robust with its aluminium shell yet light in weight.Excellent product

Recently, I purchased a MacBook Pro and although really impressed with my new laptop, I was annoyed that it didn't have the correct USB ports for external hard-drives and other peripherals. Coming across this third-party product and deciding to take a chance, I can safely say that this was the very thing I needed.It's just as robust and reliable as the MacBook Pro and fits in perfectly. All the ports function perfectly and I'm able to connect all the necessary peripherals (external hard-drives, mouse, other USB cables/devices) without mishap. It's just so reliable. I purchased this for my MacBook Air (2018), as this MacBook does not have a USB port on it. Instead it has two Thunderbolt 3 ports. I saw this adaptor on Amazon with favourable reviews, and so I got it - and I am vary p[leased with it. This is a great idea (and Apple need to ask themselves why they've restricted the USB to such a small number) and while the USB adapters work OK, the SD card reader is extremely slow, to the extent that I found it unusable. Also, one of the USB sockets stopped transmitting power when all the other sockets were in use.

The media could not be loaded. So this was bought on the basis that my sandisk SD card will fit perfectly. (as claimed in the description). However as you can see from the video this is pretty much impossible. WHY does it not accept the most popular sandisk extreme card!? Please can someone contact me. Very disappointed.
