Does everything my little shop needs & QR codes. I found it particularly entertaining that the instruction manual is written mostly in bar code. You scan it to change settings, check battery, alter volume, and more. The wireless capability is especially freeing. We can scan items into our PoS system from all over the shop.It's just a nice little scanner at a good price. We'll see how long it lasts. But it was inexpensive enough that if we only get a couple years out of it then fine.

Exactly what i needed to create a catalog of my Library. It was a simple plug in the USB to a computer, and start scanning. I purchased this to use with LiBib and its works perfect and cuts down in the time it takes to document my 100s of books. Range is also good between the device and USB receiver, and isn't heavy enough to become an issue. Definitely good for the hobby side of life, and maybe museum libraries, but not sure of longevity for commercial use, or its diversity with anything more than an ISBN barcode.

This is a handy tool I use at work. Immense battery life, multi-reading capability, the wireless connection is imperative.

Works well and was very simple - just plug and play. My only issue with it is that it turns off my CAPS lock - which I need at my job. I cannot keep turning on CAPS every time I scan, it slows me down. I know, it's just a button, but with what I do I need to be able to input data as fast as possible.

I ordered two scanners. My library aide and I scanned 11,000 books. The scanners were fast, efficient, and they didn’t need to be charged during the day. The price point was definitely a selling point. I will be recommending these to the other district librarians!

The product description is misleading as it only mentions the D5100 not being compatible with Square POS but fails to clarify its compatibility with other POS systems. This ambiguity can mislead customers into assuming it would work with other POS systems when it will not. If you are in need of a POS scanner, search elsewhere.Response from the manufacture:Thank you for your message.We regret to inform you that all our scanners, including the D5100, are not compatible with the PayPal Zettle app. The D5100 operates by emulating keyboard input, which allows it to scan barcodes into text fields like "Search" or "Add Product." When I began using square and had a ton of inventory with different sku’s, I was looking for a scanner that was compatible and affordable. This scanner arrived and set up was simple. However, I would hear it beep but the barcode wasn’t appearing. I contacted customer support who was very helpful and walked me through the steps. As it turned out, the problem wasn’t with the scanner at all, I just wasn’t in the right box on square for where the barcode should be scanned. Almost all the products I scanned came up for inventory and it was also good even with smaller barcodes.Bluetooth connectivity was great and the range was the entire 400sqft area I was working. I would definitely recommend this scanner for a small business.

I bought one of these scanners, it worked great right out of the box. After 8 months of use it stopped working. I contacted the seller and they asked for a video of the scanner showing what it was/was not doing. I sent them one and they told me I had inadvertently changed the mode. They told me how to fix it and it now works great, again!In the meantime, (not knowing how fast they would get back to me) I ordered another scanner from them. Since they got back to me really quick, I had two working scanners for a few weeks. Then the new one quick working. I contacted them, sent a video and they promptly sent me a replacement, free of charge.I now have two working scanners from this company. I am hoping they will last a while. The customer service at this company is wonderful. They really took care of me and I enjoy their product. Highly recommend to anyone needing a scanner.
