Works
Works! Purchased 3 years ago and still functional. I take it down every spring when I transition to a hummingbird feeder.

Stopped those squirrels
This baffle is easy to install and stopped squirrels from climbing the pole to my bird feeders 100% as long as you did not give them another way over it such as overhanging branches, too close to a fence or another tree. HIGHLY recommend once you put it together and attach it to your pole, you tape both side seems as they come apart just enough to trap bird’s feet and when they try to get away, they slide down the crack which is like sliding down a knife cutting off their foot and/or trapping them . Unfortunately a small bird experience that this morning. I managed to get him out of the crack, but had to remove his foot as it was hanging by skin. I pray he survives. DO NOT USE UNLESS YOU TAPE THE SEAMS TOGETHER ON BOTH SIDES

Primo 18” Squirrel Baffle
Finally a product that keeps those little peaky squirrels from getting to the bird feeder. It’s made of plastic and is very easy to install. At most it should not take you more than 5 minutes . The squirrels tried for a few days to get past the baffle but they had no luck. The little stinkers have had to find a new all you can eat buffet. Quality is decent but it’s plastic. All part were included with the exception on the pole and feeders. I believe this baffle will hold up for quite some time before it would need to be replaced. I would buy this product again. I’m thinking of buying a second as a back up.

Love it and yet...
I loved this so much, after ordering it in May, I came back in October and ordered another one for a second feeder. It kept the squirrels off my feeders as long as a) I put the feeders away from anything the squirrels could jump off of and b) there were no especially persistent squirrels. I also had a squirrel feeding area, away from the bird feeders. It's worked well for 9 months or so, and is well made.Ha, well, what happened? Went from having 3 or 4 local squirrels to 8 or 9 squirrels from across the way -- all drawn in by the squirrel feeder area. And with the new batch came super squirrel. On the buffer I show, laying on the ground, he spent hours one day trying to climb up and into the feeder. He kept getting knocked down, but that didn't stop him. He'd even go inside the buffer and spend some time - doing, I don't know what. I'd see him meditating on the fence, or on a rock or branch 12-15 feet from the feeder, contemplating whether or not he should try to jump from there. But I woke up this morning to see this. So late last night or early this morning, he must have succeeded. Somehow he knocked the buffer apart. Nothing is broken, all three pieces were lying on the ground, ready to be reassembled. So far I haven't been able to get the wire to fit, but (motivated by the squirrel's persistence), I'll keep trying. The other buffer is working fine, all in one piece and standing guard. I think this is a good product, though not perfect as long as there is one squirrel in the batch who won't give up. I also wish it were easier to put back together once that squirrel knocks it down. But such is life.

Keeps squirrels and chipmunks from bird feeder
This works well to keep critters away from bird food in feeders. It was a little difficult to work with because it arrived with the metal clamp in place, which is the last step in putting it together on the pole, so it took some work to get it off. But the final assembly works!

Squirrels cannot get by it.
Better than most of the baffles out there. Easy to assemble

Actually works!!
The media could not be loaded. This thing is worth the money, 100%!! A literal game changer in my ongoing war against the squirrels and their assault on my bird feeder. Make sure you put it on high enough, and it will work!!! Get it!Update July 2024- Unfortunately, somehow the squirrels have figured out how to climb straight up this thing, so it's back to square one. :( It was great while it lasted!!

Great for squirrels, decent for raccoons
I have a major squirrel and raccoon problem, to the point where I have to bring in seed every night now. Each birdseed pole has a black domed metal baffle on it. But, the birds poop all over those because they fan out largely around the feeder underneath, and they get really nasty and are hard to scrub. The raccoons also can pull those cone baffles down easily, and they do pull them down every night. This tube baffle has completely cleaned up the bird poop issue, since it hugs the pole so that it doesn't fan out right under the birds--very unexpected and happy consequence of this baffle! It also wonderfully prevents squirrels from getting to the feeders as well. For raccoons, they are strong enough to try to pull down on this baffle, but so far the baffle usually only gets stuck in a semi-open position without coming down from the pole entirely. So that is another huge win for me--so I bought 2 more! Definitely worth it if you have feeders on shepherd's hooks.
