Excellent air bed with amazing customer support!We've owned this mattress since November of 2020 and used it for hundreds of nights with guests and on trips. Everyone hates sleeping on an air bed but this one is actually comfortable. It sits nice and tall so you can pull up side tables for chargers and cups of water.The inflate mechanism is great too, and allows you to reach to the end of the bed and make small adjustments until your comfort level is achieved. It keeps the air all night and retains air easily. Finally the travel bag makes packing it for trips easy! It has a tight draw string that stays snug for the next time you need it.I can't recommend this company and air bed enough! One final word on the SoundAsleep company, they have been the Wirecutter's top pick mattress for years for a reason and that's their customer support. They're a small family company and really go out of their way to make sure you're satisfied and get all of the help you need. We ran into an issue with it at home several years after our purchase and the company responded next day on a holiday weekend and still helped make it right (despite being outside of the warranty). 10/10!

First, the basics. I purchased a "SoundAsleep Dream Series Air Mattress with ComfortCoil Technology". The size I purchased is a Twin XL. Everything that I read in the description for this Air Mattress is correct. The bed, out of the box, inflated in 5 minutes or less. The bed came very well packed in a box, and while the box had a few impact marks, the bed and the bag that it came packed in were in perfect condition. It also comes with a patch kit with I believe, enough material to patch two holes. The top has a waffled effect and it is "flocked", if that is the correct term. I like both as the "waffle" effect allow my shoulders and head to "sink into" the bed and for my back to get more support. The flocking is almost a skid resistant surface "holds" both blankets and sheets pretty much stay in place and prevents them from sliding around on the bed. The bed also has, when inflated, a kind of a raised bumper all the way around the edges which is very nice as it tells you where you are on the bed if you need to know. The top is supposed to be easy to clean which is a feature I hoped I would never have to us. Of course, that is not the case. On about the fifth night of sleeping on the bed I noticed that there was something on the mattress which turned out to be a piece of pie crust from one of the blankets I was using. The pie crust left an oily mark about two inches square. A little dish soapy water and the oily mark came right off and the mattress looks as good as new. No problem with the flocking coming off either.This is the most comfortable bed I have slept on in many, many years. My wife likes a bed that is almost rock hard which leaves my back and neck without support and aching when I get up in the morning. With this air mattress I can now adjust the bed to just how firm or soft I want it. I keep the bed inflated all the time and, so far, have only had to add air to it about every four to five days ~ 20-30 seconds and the mattress is back just where I like it. While the inflation/deflation fans are somewhat loud, only using them for 20-30 seconds once a week really makes the noise a non-issue. The electric cord for the fans even has a nice storage place built into the mattress to keep it out of the way.I was also concerned about getting hot sleeping on what is really a plastic surface. So far, I have been perfectly comfortable on this mattress. I suspect the flocking helps with that as well.I realize that this mattress is not really supposed to be an every night forever kind of a bed, but I am going to use it like that for as long as I can. I have been sleeping on it for six or seven weeks and have enjoyed it every night. When it wears out, provided it is still available, I will happily purchase another one.Addendum: One day earlier this week, it is now July 21, 2023, my Dream Series air mattress finally stopped retaining its air. At first it was a very slow leak, about 12 hours for the mattress to get "squishy". Last night it only took about 5 hours. Today I called the SoundAsleep support number and spoke with Casey. I can honestly say that for as much as I like the mattress, the customer support is even better. Not only was Casey pleasant and knowledgeable to talk to, she is going to replace my mattress and has even expedited the shipping on it. Yes, even though I am using the mattress as my long term bed which it is not meant for. So, in a couple of days I will have a new "dream" series mattress! The only drawback to this whole experience is that now I have to renew my search for an air mattress that is actually meant to be a "long term" bed and keep my SoundAsleep mattress as a backup. I sure hope I can find one that comes close to being as comfortable as my SoundAsleep mattress. This product and this company are keepers!

This mattress served me well for ten long years! Every guest slept well on it, and it packed in and out of the bag easily, and the pump was easy and quick to use.After 10 long years, the pump eventually failed, and I have to say the customer service at SoundAsleep is above and beyond, truly peerless and without compare. I called SoundAsleep customer service at 9am while they were closed. I didn't leave voicemail, I figured I'd call back -- but then I got a call from an unknown number at 11am. I don't usually pick up unknown numbers but good thing I did this time --- it was Casey from SoundAsleep calling me back, just from the missed call!! Amazing -- we had a really nice conversation and the pump is not a repairable part, but at the end she sent me a new replacement even though it was 9 years out of warranty!SoundAsleep is a small American family business that truly stands behind their product.

I absolutely love these mattresses. they are so comfortable and easy to adjust to your ideal stiffness. I actually got a very good sleep and I don’t sleep well.After the first night or two when they stretch a bit, they actually stay inflated throughout the night, which doesn’t usually happen. You might need to inflate it a bit before each night, but that is not a big deal. We have four mattresses because there’s five of us in the family and everyone likes them and we all sleep really well whether we’re having a camping trip or if the kids are having sleepovers,. they were stood a lot my kids like to jump on them. after two years of jumping, there was a slight leak and I emailed the company and the next morning first thing I got a voicemail saying we’re gonna take care of the replacement even though it was a year after the warranty expired and I am so impressed with the customer service of this company you should not hesitate to buy from this company as opposed to any other company that sells mattresses I wouldn’t be going out of my way to write a view unless I was that impressed.

Super easy to use - 4 minutes to fully inflate or deflate at the flick of a switch.Excellent height for comfortably getting on and off bed - even for 50 year olds!Comfortable in the Queen size and the sheets stayed in place due to the flocked velvet top. Topped it up every second night of a 10 night stay. Folded up easy into the storage bag. Recommend you follow Wirecutter's advice and get this bed.If I could improve anything it would be an automatic cut off for when it is fully inflated - there was a bit of trial and error to begin with as we didn't want to pop it like a balloon!
