I am extremely happy with this little receiver that packs a big punch. The sound quality is great and the features to price ratio, can’t be beat. I loaded about 2000 songs onto a USB flash drive and plugged into the USB port & this receiver plays them at random and I have yet to hear the same song twice. Bluetooth has a range longer than you would anticipate and is very easy to pair with new devices. I have yet to use radio much but it did find many stations (antenna included) and stores them into a preset list that you can later scroll through when listening to change stations.Some people have commented that the remote does not control volume. That is not true. Whatever the main volume you set with the knob, can then be controlled up to that top level with the remote (so the amp volume knob can limit your volume limit) which is actually great. Also if you are listening via Bluetooth on IPhone or device the phone’s volume buttons on the side can be used to control the sound level as well. While the amp can only power 2 speakers, the unit has great power. I definitely would recommend this product!!!

I rated the 'remote control' feature only 3 stars because A, I don't really use it, and therefore, have not used it. And B, it only controls a few of the features, as the manual tells you - not all the features. Meh. Who cares? Well, I guess some people would use it but in my application I have no real need for it.This is a handsome unit. I like its small footprint - bigger than the old Pyle amp I had but smaller than a typical home theater receiver. The only thing I think that detracts from the handsomosity of the unit is that the screen only tells you what mode the system is set to under the following sources: Tuner, Bluetooth and Disk. So if you switch the source knob to MP3, then you can push the mode button and choose between those three things. If you want to plug in an SD card or USB stick, there's your 'disk'. The other two are self explanatory.Now, my problem with this is that that source control knob also has AUX, CD and DVD selections on it. MP3 is at the number 4 slot, all the way to the right. When you change the source away from MP3 (which, remember, has three sub-choices) the screen does not react. So at first, I thought the unit was broken. It literally gives you no evidence that the source you selected is engaged. I mean, well, I guess if you already had sound playing from the source you select, it would just start being audible. It's fine, but... Well, I would just like it to say DVD or CD or whatever on the screen. Instead of NO DISK or BLUETOOTH, when I'm not using those inputs. Make sense? This is small beans, I know, but it was confusing at first, and it just takes a minute to get used to.Other than that, this puppy puts out plenty of power. I tested its low-end and volume with three different songs and was extremely pleased with it. I have a stereo in about every room in my house, but this one is for my game room, a pretty small section of my living room area. So when I have six friends standing around for 12 hours engaging in space warfare in Eclipse, I use the stereo to provide background music. This unit, for this size room, is completely adequate, and even a little more than that. I'm really happy with it. I had to sit there and look at it sitting atop my game shelf last night, multiple times because I was so happy.UPDATE: the Bluetooth sucks worse than a toothless hooker on discount night, behind a bowling alley. Even from a few feet away it crackles and misses. And this thing has a bluetooth antenna. What gives? Changing to 4 stars.

This is a great amp. Sounds good, lots of inputs. Great value for the money. There are a few annoying things about it, but they don’t detract from its utility and quality.There is a remote included. It would appear that you could use it for radio station presets, but that is not true.The volume control on the remote raises and lowers the volume but doesn’t move the knob, so if you turn the volume down with the remote and then turn the known down the relative level will be very low when you use the knob again.The mp3 function from a usb or sd card is very rudimentary. You can only display artist or title or album. You can’t have it scroll through all 3. Folders are not clearly displayed.Bluetooth works well and the various inputs all sound good.Bottom line is it works well and sounds good. If you want a bunch of sophisticated, well engineered features with a great UI you should probably look somewhere else.

I found it to be a nice piece of audio equipment. It's solid and compact and what I was actually looking for to put on a desk that has no real-estate room left on it. It handles my older 125watt floor speakers with ease and a set of 200watt bookshelf speakers along with a powered subwoofer. I have my new PC and new 4K TV running through it. The sound is clear without any hissing or other noise during playback of audio. Movies are awesome and Flight Simulators Old Radial Piston Engines sound really like the old DC-3/C-47 and DC-6. Can't go wrong with the price, sound, and power. I will be purchasing a different model for the living room once that is painted and set-up; And it's made in the USA, keeping the American People Working.EDIT 12 DEC 2023: Power light no longer works, left channel cuts in and out. It works when it wants to. I no longer encourage members to purchase this item. I have rewired my speakers and subwoofer and still get only one channel. I have never put the power past half except for the first time turning the device on. I have insurance on this and will be making a claim. It just sits on my desk, I dust it weekly and have taken care of this device all the time. Just over two years and it no longer impresses me. Going with Bose if I can't get a replacement.01 January 2024- This is pure garbage, not even three years old and neither channel works and the white noise is ridiculously annoying.I highly recommend that you stay away from Plye Audio Equipment. Save your money and purchase a more reliable BRAND. Because these are not reliable at all. Heading to the Bose and McIntosh websites. I want something with superior sound and craftmanship, regardless of price. I'm about to embark on a journey of bliss. I have my heart set on a McIntosh and I hear they are worth the $6,000.00 PLUS PRICE.
