Lovely Gifts, have kleenex handy!
My Daddy is seventy years old, but I am still his little girl. This touched me because this is his classic seating position. I can remember watching him sit like that with one hand on his knee even when I was little. Well now he is a grandpa with my nephews and niece so I get to see this same love and tenderness still, only this time I am an onlooker. He loved it and he cried when I gave it to him and Mom as an anniversary gift. He put it next to my Mom's gift of the Willow Tree "The Quilt" which totally embodied my Mom as well. Love all of the figurines!

Such a sweet figurine..
The grandfather figurine made me cry the minute I saw it. It reminded me of my father in law, how he used to give our kids high 5’s and hold their little hands. I purchased the figurine for his memorial service and gave it to my mother in law after.
