After extensive searching for a replacement to my cracked and now "browned out" self dimming/heated driver side mirror on my '03 Silverado I finally found this item. I am SO glad I did. The OEM replacement was $150+... this one does NOT have the self dimming setup but fits perfectly and comes with an included adapter plug so your LED blinker works great. Quality is great, the mirror is nice and clear and viewing is great.Installation is a breeze: BUT YOU HAVE TO FULlY SEAT THE RETENTION CLIPS OR YOU WILL GET A WARPED MIRROR! I've seen people complain about "funhhouse mirror" look and that is because you need to make sure ALL the clips click into the holder so the mirror mounts flat! Once that is done it is AWESOME!Great product at a GREAT price. 100% happy.

I replaced the left side mirror on my 2003 Suburban LT 4WD. The original one had auto dimming, but since I could not find a replacement with that feature I used this mirror instead. The original also was heated.I am very happy with this replacement. It is a high quality OEM replacement with great fit and finish. Easily installed and functions as it should.For those that complained about the "fun house" distortion, they have simply not installed it correctly. It took me a few extra moments to push the mirror in all the way around in a circular fashion, near the center of the mirror to fully engage the clips on the plastic mounts.I also had a couple of minor issues installing it (not the fault of the manufacturer or supplier) as the 4 prong plug was hard to push together, so I simply squeezed them gently together with a larger pliers and it went in the plug on the new mirror just fine. The new spade connectors were also too sloppy to stay on the 2 connectors for the heated mirror. Upon examination I saw that the old spades were thicker so all I did was gently squeeze the 2 old connectors so that they were a bit narrower and they then slid on and fit just fine.

Since Amazon treats both the driver side and passenger side as one product when it comes to review, I'll separate them for your enjoyment.Either Side:Easy installation, but make sure you follow the included instructions. One important note to remember: even though the instructions say if you have a fun-house effect, to take it off and reinstall it, I am skeptical about popping it off. These cheap mirrors will usually crack in the removal process. I had yet to have the need to remove it. Compared to the OEM mirrors, these do not have the dimming function, so even though the connector will fit, only two pins are present. The plastic mirror bezel is slimmer than the original, so keep that in mind if you are replacing one side only. To the perfectionist, the bezel thickness will not match OEM.Driver Side:Once installed properly, it is pretty good, although there is still a very slight fun-house mirror effect towards the blinker area. This is the best result I got for mirrors under $50 on Amazon, and believe me, I tried a few. I simply added a 3" blind-spot mirror in the upper-left corner which helps cover up the flaw.Passenger Side:Compared to the OEM mirror, the mirror performs just as good. I could not see any fun-house mirror effect with the passenger side. It might be due to the fact that it is a convex mirror to begin with, but no flaws detected.

I have the Passenger Side Heated Non-Dimming Mirror Glass with Backing Plate and LED Arrow Turn Signal (2004 GMC Yukon Denali). The install went pretty smooth (I watched their video first) however the old mirror broke taking it out. As careful as I could using nylon pry tools it flexed too much and cracked.The new mirror is almost the same as OEM. Differences are the turn wiring hangs loose in the housing whereas the factory wire is held by built-in clips. The other part is the heater wire prongs on the mirror are too thin and the factory wire connectors are too loose and I had to squeeze them carefully to get a tight fit. Lastly the only appearance difference is the plastic surround is a bit thinner than the factory unit, hardly noticeable and except for specifically looking for differences cannot really tell. Before final install I verified the heat function and turn signal functions worked. When pushing the new mirror to the housing attachment clip inside it is hard to verify if it locked on OK but seems to be solid. Probably if I did this frequently I would know for sure. Price was very good so worth the effort. Looks good.

Pros: good price, perfect fit, easy to install, signal and heater worksCons: I'm not sure how to word this but the mirror distorts the reflection of anything far away. Anything within about two feet looks fine, but if you look at a car say... 30 or more feet away you get a sort of double vision... Using one eye is better but it's still.... Warped... Like what you'd see in a spherical security mirror. It's better than the smashed mirror I had but it's still not optimal

I tried the cheap $30 dollar one. Was distorted and said "objects closer than they seem" but they were not. Field of view was minimized. Bought this one and couldn't tell the difference from the manufacturer's. Great field of view, no distortion. Spend a little extra, get the quality. It's a safety issue!

I was very skeptical about trying this product but to my surprise it worked out amazing. The fit was perfect, the design was perfect with no flaws and it was pretty easy to install. I got a bid for $750 to have the mirror replaced and was told that I could not replace just the mirror I had to replace the whole module and mirror. Obviously that was wrong and by installing this myself I saved over $700. The only thing I noticed that may be a flaw was the wire connectors were loose. To remedy this I used some electrical tape to secure them in place. All in all I was very pleased with this purchase and i highly recommend this product to anyone that needs to replace a cracked or broken side view mirror.

Worked and fit great

Bought this replacement mirror because i had water in behind my glass and the heated mirror never worked,Was a very easy install and everything works great on this new one. Have had it in for about 2 months now.Highly recommend.... plus the dealership wanted $500 for a new one. Bargin!Cheers!

After cracking my mirror, I decided to pick this up to install myself instead of opting for a mechanic. The mirror fits quite securely on the motor inside and is fully functional when all connectors are attached. Don't be afraid to really push in order to get it on. The turn signal works well and is quite bright which is great for visiblity. Overall very impressed.

The instructions on how to install the mirror were well detailed. It was a VERY quick installation. The mirror is exactly the same as what I had in my 2003 Suburban, Everything works! Buying from a dealer was about 3-4 x more. This deal was almost too good to be true!

Got this last week, but only installed it today because of some crazy weather up here. Installation literally took 10 minutes, and everything works perfectly. I do not have any of the distortion other users reported. The only difference between this one and the OEM mirror on the other side is that the LED indicator lights are brighter.
