Great timer for 12 volt vent fans

It’s a timer. It does the job and isn’t crazy expensive

The timing is almost exactly 15 minutes at full turn, but more importantly, it will countdown with even the smallest turn. The problem I had with the others is that they would turn on with a small turn but the timer would not countdown, so the light would just stay on forever if you set it to less than 5 minutes. This one starts with even 1 minute so the light won't get left on anymore.

It broke on me after two weeks

I've never wrote a retraction on my review before but I bought another timer and the instalation was worsethan the one I mentioned yesterday. I went back to the first one. I stripted off more wire , got a bigger wirenut and covered it with electrical tape. I then stuffed it in the standard box, then I had longer screws tofasten lhe timer. It all worked, the timer is fine after a lot of ajustments.

Hot tub. But using with contactor/relay because last melted internally with 18a. Rating is not accurate.

Ordered two of these, first one failed in three days, the other one failed two days later. Returned both and purchased more expensive ones from electrical supplier. Timer would not shut off after time finished.
