Works well, purchased 2 containers.
Worked great for my blind bake of my all butter crust. I had enough weights to cover a 9 inch deep dish pie pan and was able to make a great pumpkin pie.

Nice!
Love the tin. Consistent shape and size on the weights. Cleaned and dried pretty easily. Worked as expected. Had plenty for a 9.5โ pie. (You donโt need to fill the thing up to the tippy-top for these to work. My 94y/o grandma only ever put enough beans in to weigh down the bottom sufficiently and her pies were always perfect.) NOTE for New Bakers!: These donโt come with instructions. โข Rinse thoroughly and dry these before use. โข Do NOT put these directly onto your dough/pie crust! **Line it with parchment paper first, then add the weights.** Otherwise, these will sink into the pastry as it bakes and that will be an ugly mess to clean up. They are not meant to come into direct contact with the pie crust. (Saw so many 1-star reviews and mangled pie crusts while looking for pie weights because people didnโt know to use parchment paper liners.)

Perfect for a piecrust
I use these when I prebake a pie crust for quiche or pumpkin pie. The metal container is sturdy and secure, and there's even a little room left over if I needed to put in a little more weights, but it's not necessary. The weights themselves are smaller than the ones I already had, but this is a good thing, as there are more weights contacting the piecrust. They work great and there's enough to fill up a 9" piecrust so it won't bubble. Wish I'd gotten these first, I wouldn't have needed any others.

I think they'll work
I haven't had a chance to use these yet, but they appear to be exactly what I needed. I washed them and let them dry on a towel. There was not that much powder. Then put them in the stainless steel tin that comes with them. They weigh just over 2 pounds - so you are getting what they say. (Tared out the weight of the tin in the photo.) The tin is oversized and would easily hold another pounds of weights.

Every Baker Needs Some!
I love these ceramic pie weights. Yes, you can use dried beans or rice but I find them to be messy. These pie weights are a good size - big enough to do the job without denting the crust and enough to fill a 9" deep dish crust. I do line the crust with parchment paper before adding the weights. They are easily scooped out with a spoon and come with a handy and sturdy metal container in which to store them. Beware, the container is slippery and the lid comes off easily. The weights need rinsed off before the first use, and there were a few broken ones that I picked out - not a big deal to me. Overall, very pleased with these pie weights.

Container unsatisfactory.
I haven't used the pie weights yet but the cover on the storage canister doesn't fit. It's too loose. The storage canister was the reason I bought this set of weights instead of other brands.

Work great
There are enough for two pie crust. They work perfectly. They are a little hard to wash but a colander helps to keep them together. Be sure to dry them throughly. They are sturdy and hold up to multiple uses. Love the storage container.

Not a great container
I bought this product specifically for the stainless steel container it the lid is not tight at all. Scared to put it in the cupboard as o e move could have it all over the kitchen.
