Well made and durable.
I am trying to grow my own vegetables in a hydroponic solution. So far the small baskets work very well but my results were not encouraging. It was not because of the baskets but because of other influences some of which was out of my control ( weather, sun, wind)

Proper hole size
A 3 3/4" hole saw makes a perfect hole to slide these nests in.

A bit flimsy, but overall good value
I bought the 4", 25 pack bundle. For what I paid, it's not a bad deal. Several of the containers are cracked at the lip, and one is severely cracked down the middle on both sides. Fortunately, for my purposes (gardening), I doubt that this will be much of an issue at all. Four stars

Solid
They are what they seem. I'm using them to replant cape sundews in sphagnum moss. These are substantially wider than the old containers but could be a little taller.

Thin rim might be an issue
These are fairy durable and ridged, however I have an issue with them because the lip of the cup, the ledge along the upper rim that keeps the cup from falling into the hole, is very thin on these cups.For most people that probably isn't really an issue, but if you are a DIYer like me, and you made your own netcup holes in bucket lids and other container lids with a hole saw, the hole can be a bit loose, especially if you want to clean up the hole with a reamer or knife.The netcups I used to use had twice the lip area of these cups, just thought I would mention it as its a huge problem for me, have to re-drill new holes in new lids to see if I can even use these cups.
