When I first saw this product, I thought, big deal. I have 8 other silicone trivets in my kitchen and I figured, "Does the world really need more silicone trivets?" Then I ordered them when I saw them at a reduced price and I am so glad I did. As soon as I took them out of the package, I knew what the big deal was. They are SO flexible - unlike any others I have. They make it so easy to use as pot holders. The others are supposed to be used like that but they are so thick and unwieldy that I am always afraid the pan will slip out of my hands when I use them. Not so with these. Again, it is the flexibility that makes them unique.But...not only THAT! It is the array of colors that also distinguishes them from all the rest. I ordered the navy and they are a deep, rich navy, not the medium blue color of my Farberware set. The color is just the cherry on top because it is the design that makes them the ones I now reach for when handling hot handles and retrieving pans from the oven. They are truly my new favorite things in my kitchen.

These are wonderful! I've used them as pot holders to remove things from the oven, I've used them as trivets to place hot dishes on, I've used them to wrap around a castiron skillet's handle and I've used them as jar openers. If I spill something on them, I can just toss them in the sink and wash them with the rest of the dishes; they're super easy to clean. The navy blue complements the other colors in my kitchen nicely. It is durable and will last forever, so I'm really glad I bought these!I deducted one star because of the hole at the top. I realize that it is for hanging this pot holder on a hook, but the hole is large enough for my finger to get burned while taking a casserole out of the oven. It isn't a huge deal, I'll just have to remember to not grab this on the 'hole side'

I am not adverse to giving this five stars, but when I touched these yesterday I did not think I could leave my hand on them for any length of time. However, to be fair, I had them on top of a stainless steel convection oven heated to 425 degrees and then used to cook for 25 minutes. I purchased them specifically for this purpose and am not disappointed. However, the half-inch thick 10" diameter cork hot pad I had been using had, over time, burned. So, I think I will try it on top of these--and I am willing to buy two more of these if that seems necessary. The blue color is gorgeous.

Absolutely exactly what I was looking for. Great size, infinitely practical. I use them every time I cook now. They insulate well when pulling things out of the oven. They work great as a spoon rest to keep my counter clean. 5/5 would buy again.Edit - I did buy again. I am a mess when I cook, so the first set I used all the time as spoon rests and such, and were therefore frequently dirty. Bought another set so I could always have a clean set on hand. For those that need to see something critical in a review - 2 sides are not straight, but curved, so when I set the 2 sets next to each other they don't line up perfectly.

Using mine to place underneath small dog bowls to keep the mess contained.

I've been using these silicone pot holders as trivets for almost 5 years now and they still work. They are dishwasher safe and do the job they were designed to do. I would wholeheartedly recommend them to anyone looking for a stylish, long lasting pot holder or trivet.

I don't know why I was surprised at the size. The image makes it look bigger than it is. But the size is just a typical size for rivets. They are as useful as I imagined though. I got it in a lightning deal so slightly discounted. Wish I could have gotten another pair at that price. Was so hard to decide what color to go with. I definitely am keeping an eye out for another sale cause I want another 2 so I can have enough to be designated for rivets/potholder/spoon rest.

They look great and do "exactly what it says on the tin".

Really versatile kitchen accessory. Works perfectly as a trivet, preventing scratching of the worktop and heat damage from even very hot saucepans. Its star feature, though is its flexibility, so useful to grip hot handles, etc. Also, the grip is non- slip. Great product, very highly recommended. P.S. I now have six, all own purchase

Love these, purchased two sets just after my kitchen was replaced to stop worktop getting ruined. Have not just used them for hot pans, plates or tea pot, if oven gloves in use have used to remove water from a pan too.

Ideal when dishing up in kitchen or at dining table.

Robust little mats: I'm using a couple to stop my office chair sliding around on a hardwood floor. So far they seem to be working!
