The media could not be loaded. I absolutely love this product. It was so easy to install. It changed my space and only took 10 minutes or less. I love that you can add whatever shade you want. The price is so much cheaper than the conversion kit and/or hiring an electrician. I don't think there's anything else on the market like it. I don't know why more people aren't talking about this company. This product is made of high quality material and I feel like I want to put more of these in my house because it completely changed the space with very little effort on my part.

The first of the six of these we ordered arrived today. The finish looks great and getting it set up is as easy as screwing in a light bulb. The pendant shades will be arriving in a few days. Once they are in I'll add a follow up review to confirm whether or not it works with the shades we bought.

Handy for quickly remedying an ugly can light in a rental. But it has flaws just as you'd expect from the design. Namely, it's really hard to get the cord wound to the right length, especially if you want a fairly short cord, and there is no way to "tighten" the plate against the ceiling. The design of bolting the plate from below means the plate is essentially floating against the ceiling, not tightly against it like an installed light would, and it moves around a bit. The movement/uneven application against the ceiling is pretty annoying. Make sure you cross the cord loops so that the pendant ends up hanging from the very middle. This takes some odd maneuvering given that the design of the hook would normally end up with the cord looped more to one side, but given the ceiling plate's tenuous attachment to the ceiling, the plate will hang off center to the recessed hole if the cord isn't perfectly centered on the hook.Also, the cord isn't really thick enough to not kink a bit. I don't recommend using this is you want a lot of cord showing, as it will look a little warped. I'm using only about a 2 foot drop and the cord kinks are irritating and makes the lamp look a little cheap (even with the heavy glass shade I added).Although this kit is without shade and implies it can work without any shade, it looks really awkward that way. I do not recommend for use without a opaque shade of some kind given the overly bulky bulb housing.

Wow. The instructions were easy, the install was easy. We were waiting for something to go wrong since the price of it was so reasonable. I definitely recommend.

The media could not be loaded. As mentioned in the video, I have to snug up the cord every few months to push the plate back up against the ceiling but, other than that, it was a simple, awesome design change.

We needed to replace a 6” inch recessed light, and I wanted a black finish to match cabinet hardware - this worked perfectly. My husband installed it in a short time, and we bought the glass and Edison bulb at a home improvement store - very pleased with this purchase

Can't get it to sit flush with ceilingThere's a small gapThe nut given can only tighten it so muchI will have to look into another size nut to make it at least flushPlus side easy to install and look nice

I like these easy to set up, but the cord is not straight I ordered 3 and 2 had a little curve in it I’m hoping it straightens out but all in all I like them no electrician to pay for 😊
