I have a 2016 Chevy Cruze and that part fit perfectly. Very easy to install. Took me less than 20 mins. I'm not a car mechanic at all! But used YouTube videos on how it's done. Works great.

My trunk stop opening a few months ago and when I finally decided to take it to a mechanic and get it fixed they quoted me $200 and I thought that was too expensive. I ordered the part from Amazon for $20 bucks and my husband installed it by looking at a YouTube video. It works great!!!!

Saved a bunch of money in pert and labor. Works just like the factory installed part. The electrical plug, bolt holes all match and can easily switch the emergency pull cord from the factory part to this new one. Plenty of instruction videos out there to help if needed. Just be very careful with the clips that hold the interior panel to the inside of your trunk lid if your car has one those break easy.

I was with ya truck for several months. It wasn’t until I researched to narrow down what the issue was: it wasn’t the fuse in the beginning 2) lack didn’t click. Yup, you need a latch. It was over a hundred bucks at the dealer. I thank Amazon for the OEM that works the same. It you my husband about 30-40 minutes to install. But it still didn’t work. So, we checked the fuse and it had blown after being installed. Works perfectly.

I had a trouble get it to snap in but I finally got it and it worked !

My trunk wouldn’t open every time I pressed the button on the remote of tried opening it from the button on the trunk. I kinda dealt with it for awhile until one we went to the wholesale store and came out and spent over 30 mins trying to get the trunk open and once It got open spent another 10 mins trying to get it to stay closed. Once we got home, I came to Amazon to look for one and after doing my research and reading plenty of reviews, I chose this one. Still was nervous, thinking what if it’s not the thing to fix the issue or it doesn’t fit. However we looked for a video on how to install it. I can tell you it was so easy to install. Now the trunk opens so smooth without any issues. Oh also, we saved over a hundred dollars getting it from Amazon because the auto part store wanted $120 or more.

It's 20 on Amazon. 130 at the dealership. It is so easy to change. I'm a amateur and it only took me 20 mins. Direct fit. Built the same as oem part. Would recommend anybody to buy this over going to a part store or dealer.

The installation was easy but the part was faulty. I have a 2016 Buick Cascada, and this part is not compatible. I read all the positive reviews and decided to buy it. Unfortunately, my trunk would not open at all, even the snap on scanner at the mechanic would not open it. I thought I was going to have to remove the rear seats to get in the trunk. I went to three mechanics and the last one was able to think outside the box (or trunk…lol). He used a long metal pole with a hook on the end to open the emergency release in the trunk. He went through the crack between the seats. I purchased an aftermarket Dorman trunk actuator, and that part worked. Be careful you get what you pay for. 😵‍💫
