I was originally purchasing the ones that go with the disposal but for some reason there was always an order coming from the disposal (or somewhere). The food kept getting stuck to the guard and it was so soft I was always having to replace it. So I decided to try these; mostly because they were cheaper. Am I glad I did. They seem stronger but the best part....there is no more odor??? For some reason, the food isn't sticking to the underside of these like the ones I used to purchase???? Why??? Anyway - I feel really great about the purchase of these. Not only cheaper, but stronger and not so soft on the bottom where the food was always sticking to them. I can totally tell you to give them a try even if they don't come with the disposal....they do say they will fit it and they DO. Thank you seller. LOVE THEM and will purchase again and again.

Our Kraus sink strainer is worn out and falls into the grinder opening a bit too much for our safety concerns so looked for a replacement. These look identical to what came with the sink new, but surprisingly fit tight seemingly on a ledge and do not move-so far. As I did on the OEM Kraus strainer, opened the center hole to about 3/8" for better water flow to the disposal by snipping off the points from center opening of pedals.

I like these because they're easy to keep clean but I recommend replacing them with the metal strainer when turning on the disposal because the force of the suction pulls this rubber strainer into the disposal.

The media could not be loaded. I bought the 3 pack because for some reason my sink is overused and we do wear these out. They are super easy to install and pop out to clean occasionally.

These were perfect replacement and good quality.

Can’t believe how easy these got rid of the nasty smell in my disposal. Tried grinding up lemons, baking soda and peroxide with dawn…ice cubes and comet…. All were helpful, but that black rubber gasket at the top (sometimes called a baffle because it reduces noise along with containment) was the biggest culprit. Easily pulls up and off. Yuk.I still use the methods above for general cleaning, but keep a supply of these on hand. So reasonable in price and an easy fix.Pull yours out and see for yourself. Then order these. Great price and fit most disposals.
