I've went thru 3 in 2 years. This one just recently purchased is my back up for the 1st one ever purchased that I just dropped. So pretty good track record having been 2 yrs old or very close to it. I only gave 3 for accuracy because we know it isn't spot on compared to bigger models or a professional probe.

So far it seems to be accurate, or at least it matches the readings from my test strips. I have noticed that it drains batteries even when it's turned off. I'll turn it off and put it away, and each time the batteries are drained when I try to use it again. So I have to remove the battery cartridge from it before putting it away.Also the battery compartment is poorly designed. It's difficult to tell which way to put the batteries in, and also which way to put the battery cartridge back in the device. It's very easy to accidentally put the batteries or the cartridge in the wrong way.

Calibration can be a little weird. I had to buy more packets to double check my work.

I use this maybe once a month, after 9 mths it no longer works. Not happy with product.

Takes a few times to calibrate, so make sure you keep the water before dumping it out to use the next tester (3 different cups). After you get it going it works great.

Calibrated it, probably not necessary, never gave me a steady reading and when it did it was so far off you may have lost all you fish. Window fogged up.

If you trying to regulate the ph in your water this is a must have tool.
