Love the ability to use the steam while the lid is closed. If there was one improvement, it would be nice to some kind of breathable padding on the lid where the steam feature is located.

I use this pants press on my jeans with starch, and it gives me the perfect crisp line every time! It’s super easy to use, and my jeans look sharp and polished without the hassle of ironing. Great for a clean, professional look—definitely recommend for anyone who likes their clothes looking crisp!

The media could not be loaded. *BUYER BEWARE!*We have been a tried and true Singer Steam Press family for years. We have various family members that still use the original steam press iron we owned. Our last Singer Steam Press finally gave out last week after 11 years (we purchased it in 2013), so it was a no-brainer to replace it. Unfortunately the quality control missed the mark on this one. We received it today, and upon opening we noticed the press has a huge crack on the right side of the handle. It is ascending from what appears to be an over-tightened screw. The handle feels nothing like our original one either (which we purchased through Amazon as well), this newer model feels like a light weight plastic was used. We are returning it TODAY and have to wait for the 30 days to be refunded and only then will be able to repurchase accordingly. We would buy the original Singer we had if it was still available but unfortunately, this is the only option for now and we are restricted for dimensions of press.*UPDATE: 7/31/24 received refunded credit finally and will buy again in good faith. Will update when replacement arrives.**HORRIBLE!! 8/7/24 ** SECOND SINGER IRON RECEIVED AND IT HAS BROKEN/CRACKED HANDLE JUST LIKE THE FIRST ONE, IN FACT MY HUSBAND THINKS THEY MAY POSSIBLY HAVE SENT US THE SAME ONE! Will try and upload video/photos although it won’t let me upload a second video but I will certainly try! It didn’t even make it into the house we opened it on the doorstep and back to the post office it goes, what a hassle this has all been. I am completely disappointed!! Buyer beware!!!**8/12/24: Updated photos and videos not allowed to upload, and still waiting for refund. Refund status shows it will be between 8/28-9/4 before we get our $519.59 back. We reviewed and compared our close-up photos of the first Singer Steam Press iron broken out of the box delivered and the second same Singer press, (also new and broken out of the box that was delivered) and my husband and I came to the conclusion that they are two different brand new Singer Steam Presses that were *cracked* and *broken* irons in the exact same spots delivered to us. Both new and unused, but both badly cracked along the handles which makes the irons useless as you can’t feasibly press repeatedly with cracked handles.It would have been better for Singer if it were indeed the same iron delivered but now it’s obviously a defective product issue. SINGER, WHERE IS THE QUALITY CONTROL?! We are not the only ones having issues either, we should have heeded the warnings!We have been trying to get our original Singer Press that went out repaired in the meantime because we do believe in the original Singer Steam Press iron but these new Singer ones just don’t fit the bill. The original ones were so great it’s a shame they changed them at all!

Using this product is quicker than ironing. The guide shows you how to press items.It’s worth it to buy the accompanying stand. I initially placed the press on top of my ironing board, but it wasn’t that stable.Also the press gets very hot. I’m aware that I have to be careful when adjusting clothing on the press.After 1 month, my main complaint is I wish I purchased the larger 36” press. Note: I’m 6’ 1” with long arms. The shoulder yokes of my shirts are almost 26 inches. The tails of my shirt hang off of the 26” press.

I hate ironing.That says it all.I took a leap of faith and decided on the Singer brand of presses. Mind you I've never even tried a steam press before so I didn't know what to expect. I knew that I hated ironing shirts, I did it 2ce a week (sometimes more), and it took a good portion of my day. After watching a good number of you tube vids on fast pressing cloths (is everyone still wishing for the Effie Automatic Ironing Machine to come out?) and this seemed like a good idea to cut down the amount of time it took.Now there is a learning curve to use these steam presses. The fist couple of times I managed to 'lightly' burn a few knuckle from getting too close when moving fabric around. I can tell you though, its worth it.It cut my time to press shirts in half, and its a little more fun as well.One of the reasons I went with Singer (besides knowing its a product name I trust) is because there weren't any water leaks when reading reviews and watching videos of the product. If you do research on steam presses (via video) if you spot any water seepage that gets on the board (usually the demonstrator doesn't pay any mind like its normal... ITS NOT!) its not what you want. Water leakage means discoloration and also can permanently mark up specialty fabrics!You'll have to use distilled water for it (only drawback I can think of) but this is quite a well built press I can see me using for years (if not, I'll surely post an update) but I've had it for a good week, and have used it about 5 times already.
