I have used this many times and it is very good. I have used it to make jellof and red stew either in addition to my own stew base or as my only stew base. It really replaces all that frying/boiling down of raw tomatoes or tomato paste. Comes in very handy for fast jellof and stew: simply fry onions down, add in ginger with the sauce, fry down a little, add in seasoning like thyme, curry, pepper,(the same brand has some which are good), then add in rice and broth/water, cover and cook. I like the convenience so much I bought whole case.

The sauce is good but the Very misleading, description only received 1 changed my rating from 1

I saw other reviews that they didn’t not get two bottles but I did, and can’t wait to try it out.

The product was open and leaking in the box. I could not return a leaking product.

Updating my review to remove a star because the package only comes with one sauce and NOT two. I ordered another set of 5, expecting to get 10 and only got 5. The description is very misleading.I normally don’t write reviews but this is the best sauce ever! Total game changer for those who miss the authentic Nigerian flavor in Jollof rice cooked overseas. However I only got one 12oz sauce, not two of the sauces. It says it’s a set of 2?I’m going to order again because I love it and will update my ratings accordingly. Hopefully I will get a set of 2 as promised!

This sauce is very good for jollof rice; stew; pasta sauce and porridge- yam, plantain or beans.The taste is very nice.It makes cooking very easy.I highly recommend it. Especially for people like me, who cooking is not a hobby.

It was below my expectations, I was not expecting a sugar aftertaste after cooking the jollof rice with the sauce.I bought the product with the expectation of a smoky flavored rice but it was not so.

It turned out really well.
