Short answer - No.Long answer - There is no "Expiration" or "Best by" date on the packets. We usually use part of a packet for a meal (2 people) so we roll up the open end of the packet and use it later, often a week or three later, with no discernible difference in texture, smell, or taste. We keep some of the packets in the kitchen of our beach house and use them when they are two or three years old, again with no discernible difference.

Q: I see two different answers on if they expire--Its impossible to read the inscription on the side of the packet --Is there an official answer?

I bought a lot of packages in Sept. 2022. They have an expiration date of 11-16-24 that is an imprint on the white edge of the package. It's a little challenging to read. If you run your finger along both white edges of the package you can feel the imprint and then do your best to read it.

Q: Did they change the package design on the “concord foods roasted potatoes original mix “ or the ingredients? Because I can’t find it at my local store

I had bought the value pack a couple of years ago when I couldn't find it in stores and still have some left. The front of the package is different now, but it still says "Original Roasted Potato Seasoning Mix" by Concord Foods. The list of ingredients is the same and listed in the same order, so it may taste the same. I have not tried the new package.
