It was a little difficult to expand at first until I figured it out - with the bag unfolded to a square, hold on to the bottom of the bag with the toe of my shoes, grab the top of the bag and turn it like a steering wheel. Turn the opposite way to collapse it. Works good.

We had to watch a Tree Stuff YouTube to figure out how to open it then close it. Funny but great. Much better than a zip up tool bag

I love that you can tie in your throw line feed it in and have a couple throw weights in it and it still collapses and folds up ready to go and you can fold it and everything still where it was and you can use it as soon as you unfold it.

This is a fantastic bag. I work in the cell tower industry, I use this nearly everyday to bring our haul roles into the tower. The only thing that is frustrating is that the bags edges always split and the poles end up sliding out. During my climb I usually have to stop, slide them back into place and then proceed. I love how convenient it is but they need to be reinforced before I buy another one.
