There are two mistakes
This book contains two mistakes: "Dzseki" does not start with dz, but dzs and "zsineg" does not start with z but zs. It clearly wasn't proofread by a Hungarian speaker.

Not good for children who are just starting to read
The idea behind these books is to teach the letters and sounds of the alphabet of a particular language. They normally use words that START with the given sound (except for some very unique ones). So why would this book use a bunch of words where the given letter is in the middle or at the end?Example: for É they use kenyér. There are words in the Hungarian language that start with É and can be pictured. For í they used papír. For Ő they used felhő. For Ű they used tű. For Z they went with ház.For the word üveg they use the photo of a beer bottle. As a side note, several of the pictures they used are not necessarily the easiest or simplest for kids. It is just sad and slightly annoying that they could have asked any native Hungarian speaker who went to elementary school to do a quick check and they would have immediately fixed these issues. Clearly the publisher didn’t care that much. Since the appearance of the book is nice, and there is nothing remotely similar out there, I will stick pictures and reprint the correct words for the messed up pages. Otherwise, it is quite a disappointment.

Great Book!
I got this book to start teaching my kids Hungarian and it's very helpful and useful. It also helps to have the English translation underneath as it helps both my kids and husband understand better.

Materials used not age appropriate
Pro:- The book is exactly as described; it has the letter, a word, and the translation.- The inside of the book is printed in color.Cons:- Considering the title of the book starts off with "My First" we were expecting a nice strong paperback cover with thick pages. The pages are so thin you can see through to the previous/next pages (as shown in photo included).- Print quality is similar to a home printer.

Expensive for a book but nice little book
Purchased for work. I have ordered a number of these in different languages. Ages range from 1yr to 5yr.They are a nice little book, Capital and lower case letters to introduce the letter, an image next to it. The chosen language word and then the English word underneath. Red is used for the letter in the word and is also used if the letter is within the word. Helps children to recognise, identify the letter whether its a capital or lower case either at the start of the word or throughout. The book is flimsy. The pages I would describe the feeling, touch of a sheet of A4 paper, not sturdy for little fingers and will easily tear, rip due to children not understanding how to be careful. But I paid £7.99 and for the price I would of expected it to be sturdy, more durable for children and I do not think it's worth that more so when I have found someone on amazon selling them for £3.99, so I have ordered others from there. For £3.99 then I cannot complain about the quality, sturdiness etc.Wouldn't order from seller, due to high price only. Also this isn't paperback and shouldn't be advertised as paperback.
