Rock-Solid Performance with Sleek Design – A Perfect 5-Star Buy!
Absolutely love this product! The quality is top-notch, and it feels like it’s built to last. It’s proven extremely reliable so far, running smoothly without any hiccups. It also looks great—sleek and well-designed, definitely a nice addition to my setup. I've experienced a zero crash rate, which is impressive and speaks to the stability of the product. Every function works exactly as expected, and it delivers on all its promises. Best of all, the installation was a breeze—super straightforward with clear instructions. Easily a 5-star purchase!

Easy and simple to install-no directions needed.
Have only recently set it up but was very simple and easy to do and fits my needs perfectly. The only drawback for me is that the lowest level is slightly higher than I would prefer. However, I have a simple fix for that. Fan is so silent I had to check several times it was actually on. Excellent product.

It's okay and it's nice looking.
In hindsight, the color doesn't matter cuz the computer is on it. But it's still pretty cool, literally and figuratively. It works, but the fans are not super powerful. So if you have a 'normal' laptop, this will work perfect for you. If you have a gaming laptop this helps, but if you run it all day your computer is going to burn up in about 3/4 the amount of time it would have without it. You might get away with using this to keep it cool while plugged sleeping, but that's even being risky. (I've left my laptop with this on for a week - 4/5 days without thinking about it and it burned up.) It is relatively quiet so that's nice.

Truly Outstanding
I'm really very impressed with this cooling pad for my Dell XPS 15. It runs super hot during gaming sessions, to the point that the surface of the laptop by the trackpad is actually uncomfortable to rest your hand on. Fans screaming for additional cooling and my own worries about the hardware getting cooked led me on a search for some exterior cooling. I settled on this product and I'm so happy I bought it, it's doing a fantastic job keeping my expensive machine cool and the loud internal fans don't even bother kicking on anymore. Would absolutely recommend.

Cools nicely
Bought to help with cooling for my long gaming sessions. 2 sets of fans. 2 different buttons. Sturdy. Usb ports n back. I used a usb dongle to extend ports for keyboard, controller, etc

Worth Every Penny
Does a great job at keeping my laptop cool while I’m playing games. I usually run the Finals, Sims 4, or INZOI. All of which heat my laptop up, but this fan usually has my laptop going from 90 degrees to 70. Big help!

Good for light use
I bought the Kootek Laptop Cooling Pad to address an overheating issue with my laptop while waiting to replace its internal fan. While it served its purpose as a temporary fix, there are several things to consider before deciding if it’s right for you.PerformanceThe cooling pad comes equipped with five fans, which sounds impressive on paper. However, the actual cooling performance left much to be desired. During light use, it was fine, but when I pushed my laptop with more demanding tasks like gaming or video editing, the temperature barely dropped. If you’re hoping this will resolve serious overheating issues, it’s likely to disappoint. It’s better suited for light, everyday use.Noise LevelDespite being marketed as having “quiet fans,” I found the noise to be noticeable, especially in quieter settings. It’s not unbearable, but if you’re someone who’s sensitive to background noise, it might become a distraction.Ergonomics and DesignThe height adjustment feature is a thoughtful addition, but the overall design isn’t very ergonomic. The elevated positioning made typing and gaming uncomfortable for extended periods because of awkward wrist placement. If you plan to use it for long sessions, this could be a significant drawback.DurabilityThe build quality seems solid, with materials that feel sturdy rather than cheap. That said, since I replaced my laptop’s internal fan shortly after purchasing it, I haven’t used the cooling pad much, so I can’t speak to its long-term durability.AestheticsThe blue LED lighting on the fans is a nice touch, especially if you enjoy a visually appealing setup. It’s subtle enough not to be distracting, which I appreciated.ValueFor its price, the Kootek Cooling Pad offers a decent stopgap solution, but it has its limitations. Its lackluster cooling performance and ergonomic issues make it less than ideal for heavy-duty use. If you’re looking for something more versatile or powerful, you might want to explore other options.ConclusionThe Kootek Laptop Cooling Pad works as a temporary solution for overheating laptops, but it falls short in key areas like performance, noise, and comfort. If your laptop’s internal fan is working and you just want extra cooling for light tasks, it could do the job. However, if you’re a gamer, multitasker, or dealing with significant heat issues, this may not be the solution you’re looking for. Personally, I stopped using it once I replaced my laptop’s fan, which shows its limited usefulness for more demanding needs.

Good quality and lasts years
Cools PC very well, makes video editing much easier on the PC. We have 2 of these now, one is a few years old and we just got another one, very similar but seems like the build quality has improved. We have definitely gotten a lot of use out of these! It fits the 16” Apple MacBook Pro perfectly - but a little large for the 14” - but still works!
