Well made, round, and of acceptable thickness. Was in the hvac business, nice fitting and quick shipping.

I purchased this item to split a 6" duct into two 4" connections for a dust collection system. For this purpose the crimping was opposite of what would be desired, however as it turned out it worked in my favor because the large sweep elbow I built to connect to the cyclone actually only fit by sliding on the outside so the male crimp on the 6" end fit tightly inside the female opening of this fitting. Plus it was much easier to slide the hoses on the male crimped 4" connections of this fitting. I wrapped all the seams with HVAC tape including inside to reduce the "step" effect of the reversed flow assembly. My only criticism is that for what you pay for these fitting from the seller they should be thoroughly sealed with mastic paste.

These fittings look like they were made in a garage without professional equipment. The fittings are covered with an ugly-looking sealant, and the edges of the branches are bent and are not circular.

Headline says it all. Very satisfied, low price compared to just about anything else. Build solid and sturdy... stands up easily to my 5hp dust collector.
