This extractor works!

I have owned this extractor for almost a month. I can tell it will not last for many years because it is made of plastic, so wear and tear will take it's toll eventually. I am impressed with how well it works (crushes veggies, etc). It is not made to handle hard items everyday, like fresh turmeric and ginger, but as long as I prepare it by peeling and cutting it into smaller pieces, it will handle them with ease. I enjoy the smaller size, the ease of cleaning it and the cost. My concern will be the overuse of certain veggies and the eventual wear and tear, so I am being careful not to overdo it. I want to keep it longer before it needs replacing. I also appreciate the reverse button when food/veggies get stuck, makes it convenient. All parts are made of plastic (except the strainer is part metal and part plastic and so some veggies stain the plastic pieces (need to consider this part). So far I am not bothered by that as long as it continues to function. I now understand why it has received such great reviews and like I mentioned, so far so good with special consideration of the fact that is it made of mostly plastic and the wear and tear will eventually occur. I use it twice per day for my dietary needs and I hope to be able to use it more over time, crossing my fingers. I hope this review helps. I am pleased for my very first juicer/extractor. I am grateful for the affordable price.

Very satisfied with juicer.

The price is very good, I started juicing with this juicer Sept. 3rd and use it daily. Have it for 1 month 1/2. It is quiet, not much pulp remainder. Wash parts immeddiately after juicing. Clean parts when square juice container with measurements written on it gets 1/3 full. After cleaning the parts continue your juicing. If you wait till 1/2 or 3/4 full juice container then the part that extracts the pulp can get jammed, cannot take apart causing a big problem. Don't over pack the place where you put fruit or veggie. Be gentle in pushing produce through the chute. I had a similar juicer a year ago which lasted for a couple of years. I bought it at Bed and Bath. It served me very well. Leafy greens go in easily, so do beets, carrots. Just be gentle, clean well after using. Monthly soak overnight in warm soap water. It should last for years. Great healthy juice. Easy to stay healthy. Fun to try new recipes. Enjoy.

Quick setup, great tasting juice and easy to clean

The media could not be loaded. I love this product it was great for my jumpstart back into juicing. I clean and cut produce into thin sizes to easily fit in the chute, the reverse button is great for clearing any backlog. I put the pulp in freezer bags, flatten them and remove the air and break them into chunks to use as flavored ice for smoothies to minimize waste. I give this user-friendly machine a 10.

Buy a Breville

The chute is incredibly small which means you are chopping everything super small. The part the juice and pulp come out of broke while juicing. Just snapped halfway through juicing due to the fact that the pulp disposal hole is smaller than your pinky and clogged. Ok so buy a new one.The part is $12 but the slowest shipping was 8.99 effectively doubling the cost!!! And it wont be here for weeks! Guess I could have paid $53 in shipping to get here sooner. Wish I'd never sold my Breville. This thing is cheap plast crap.

Bad with roots, great with greens

This product is great bang for buck. I bought it before doing enough research. If I could go back I'd fork the extra 300 to 400 extra I'd need for a top quality product. It is easy to clean and easy to use although tough skinned vegetables and roots don't do well. Carrots, parsnips, beets, and even purple kale struggled. When doing a carrot juice, I went too fast and the entire end of the juicer where the pulp comes out popped off and flew across the room flinging carrot pulp everywhere. I learned from it and try to cut my carrots and other roots very thin before putting them in. I still have moments where the end of the juicer is strained and begins to pop off and I have to hold it in place to keep going. I recommend greens and fruits only with this juicer.

Cheap and Best!

Don't worry about the one star reviews! Be gentle with this one and it will last long!I am happy as this is the best way to juice everyday. It is silent and easy to clean and saves a lot of money compared to other expensive ones. The pulp that comes out of the juicer is very dry which means I am getting maximum yield and it is cold extracted which means more nutrients! Comes with one extra stainer and cleaning brush. I use it everyday for ABC and green juice. Go for it!

Quality not so good

We have this juicer for about 4 days. We mostly juice carrots and prep the carrots by slicing them into smaller pieces. The juicer works well until there is a noise that comes from where the end cap is attached to the drum and feed chute. Seems that due to the pressure of the auger it dislodges the end cap. The first time this happened was on day two of using the juicer. The end cap dislodged and popped out of the machine striking my wife in the chess. It was not very explosive but it scared her never the less. The juicer itself does the job as described but it seems the plastic parts of the end cap and chute do not have a better locking mechanism to prevent this from happening. We now have to stop juicing every so often to make sure that the end cap does not pop off the chute, and to prevent breakage of the plastic parts. Not sure if I can replace the chute and end cap with metal or heavy duty parts which then will make this machine worthy of at least another star.

Cost Effective, Great for Beginners, Great Juice

The product is a great budget juicer! I paid around $85 and have used it almost every morning for a month so far and I love it! I will probably eventually upgrade to the Nama (it’s $350-$500) but I will happily use this until I can’t anymore. I believe this is under warranty as well so should get 1-2 years of use out of it.Cons: You will need to strain your juice after if you don’t like pulp. I have a small strainer that I put on top of my glass and I just pour in my juice. Easy peasy.I make a lot of carrot juice and the pulp can get stuck in one of the pieces with tiny holes. It can be a bit difficult to clean but they do provide a brush for easier cleanup.
