Awesome DIY 4 port Switch A+ Rating

I had this installed and running in about 15 minutes.I have about 25 WiFi smart devices in my home, and from my experiance I recomend any device that supports the Tuya/SmartLife application as this device does. I say that because Tuya has reciently updated their app thats used by most Smart Home devices to support local (off the grid) integration with Home Assistant, and other Home Automation Software. Also can be flashed with Tasmota or ESP Home.Anyway (For what it's worth) here's my quick install guide.1. Use the Smart Life app (by Tuya), Not the other one2. Use one of your old Cell Phone Chargers for power (Mini USB) just plugs into the board.3. Plug the charger into the Board and yo will see the blue light immediatly, Then Press the (Relay 1) button down until the blue light flashes rapidly. It's now ready for pairing.* Assuming you have installed SmartLife on your device and already connected to your home WiFi.4. Next Hit the add (+) button on SmartLife app and just follow the prompts.5. In like 2 minutes you will be up and running. Each Relay is able to be turned on/off with the App. Also many other automation features on the SMartLife app. Choose what name you like for the 4 relays. Also Alexa will automatically pick up the device within a a couple minutes. In my case, I say "Alexa turn on (or Off) Relay 1" (or Relay 2,3, or 4), the the relay is switches on.Note by default the Relays are set to momentary, so I changed the setting in SmartLife to Stay on or Off.So to sum this review up. I got this device to experiment with some simple scripts to turn on/off not only low power (5-12 volt) and also high power 110 volt circuits with.In my opinion the Board Looks well made and solid, so I will assume it will be reliable. If I run into any problems I'll update my review. But for now A+ Rating on this device..

Works perfectly for pond valve actuator control

I use this to control a TORK TPE24VA 24-Volt Valve Actuator Control for my koi pond. It's inexpensive and the settings using the software are easy to understand and work perfectly. Also, the "normally open" dry relays were easily able to handle the 24 volt AC power requirements of the valve actuator. Closing one relay rotates the valve to open my waterfall, and closing the other relay opens my valve for the return water which turns off the water to the waterfall and sends the return water to an alternative port in the pond. This is done by selecting the interlocking relay mode in the software.. This keeps the pump running and filtering Even when the water fall is "turned off"I can say Alexa "turn on the waterfall" or Alexa "turn on the return", and the waterfall does what it's supposed to do. How easy is that? I left it unplugged with no power for at least 2 months. When I hook it back up to a power supply again, it immediately paired and worked perfectly. It is an extremely handy gadget.

---Bitch to set up, WORTH IT...

I originally got the 4 channel and spent over an hour getting it to work... And it run great now... So I added this 2 channel today. AND Spent another half hour playing with it to get it connected.... Flakey things, but once they are registered and set up they are fantastic! Fast too.... Works great with Alexa, and cheap!A few things to do when setting these up....1 - Make SURE your phone/Wifi is on a 2.4GHz... Set up a temp channel on your router is needed. Once you are set up you can use 5...2- Put your phone in airplane mode with just Wifi and location on....3 - Place the device and you phone CLOSE to your router/Wifi source... I'm talking a few feet....4 - If the setup fails or times out, try try again... I may take several times, doing the same thing, for it to work (????)The directions that came with this (2 channel version) shows a picture and directions for a one channel.... Yikes! Anyways, the middle button of the 3 is the pair button... Power on and then hold it down until the LED flashes fast.... On power up the LED flashes twice then one long. This is NOT pair mode.... Constant flashing fast is....Once set up, it works great at long distances and on 5g.Good luck!

Works Great with Home Assistant

This has been excellent as a replacement for my old bulky irrigation system controller. It integrates seamlessly with home assistant and I have never had any connection issues in the 6 months I’ve been using it. Great value for the price

Works well so far and the interlock is ideal for controlling a reversible motor or actuator

This device does exactly what I wanted: controlling an actuator with reversible polarity to move it up or down. The interlock mode is used for this (and would work for a reversible motor as well I think) and enforces that only one relay is on at a time. Another handy feature is that the board can be powered by 5v - 12v (the connector next to the USB) or by USB. So if you're using that voltage for, say, your motor you can use the same power source to run the board which conveniently avoids extra cabling. TBH I'm no electronics expert so perhaps that might cause a long-term problem but so far so good. The only reason I lowered a star for easy to use is that the documentation is slim. Basically all you have to go on is a small picture to figure out wiring. It's comprehensible but not ideal.

UPDATE: #2 Poor quality control/cheap parts

3rd update. I’ve only had one out of 5 of these work longer than 2 months. But still- every one I own has failed. From completely dark to led flicker and relays not closing when triggered.I’d pay twice the price for something reliable. Bought 2. One worked for 2 days and died. Fortunately within the exchange window.Easy to set up, and enable Alexa. Worked great to turn on my Steamist steam shower lights and to turn on my Tankless hot water recirc pump. (For 2 days) I’m switching to a Shelly plus 1 now
