High quality - I looks like real wood. I bought a display stand which is a combination of light and dark wood - I wanted the handle to match the dark wood. This product was easy to apply and now the handle looks great!

I purchased this wallpaper to create a rustic accent wall in our spare bedroom. It was so easy to apply, easy to peel and reapply if I had a piece that was uneven, and was unbelievably inexpensive, and it looks absolutely beautiful! It has not peeled or bubbled. I'm so pleased with this purchase. Talk about getting bang for your buck!

We live on a sailboat, and the mast is held to the deck by wire rope attached to steel “chainplates,” which extend through the deck and are then bolted to bulkheads that are fixed and glassed into the interior of the hull – super sturdy. However, the holes under the chainplate covers are perfect areas for water seepage if not properly sealed.We realized our sealing compound was failing when we saw the teak veneer on one bulkhead beginning to bubble just under the chainplate after a particularly bad storm.Re-sealing the chainplates was easy. Fixing the veneer was going to be a disaster. There’s no easy way to do it without pulling a lot of stuff out of the boat, disassembling some components, and then pulling off all the old and gluing down new. We were looking at a lot of money for someone else to do it or a lot of time and a little less money to do it ourselves – just to cover a small area that peeled off.My girlfriend suggested some sort of vinyl covering, and in my mind, I saw our walls covered with shelf paper – obviously fake wood, which I couldn’t fathom being anything I’d like.However, being unable to come up with any other solution, I decided to check Amazon just to see what was out there.I found this product and decided that for the price, I would take a chance and see what happened. I’m certainly glad I did.I’m not sure our use of this is what the manufacturer intended. I think it’s designed to cover furniture or smaller items. I don’t think it was intended as a wall covering. However, it performs quite well in that respect.Installing it is a lot like installing wallpaper, except the adhesive is on the paper already. All we did for prep is wipe the walls with a rag soaked in acetone. For the first piece we tried to install, we peeled all the backing off – but that makes it difficult to work with. The best way we found was to use some “delicate” masking tape to tape it up, cut it to the approximate shape, then remove the paper from the top, put it in place, and work the bubbles out as you pull off the backing while unrolling it down the wall. Then cut the excess from around any obstacles.It's actually easier than you think to maintain a vertically-straight line because of the wood grain pattern – but it wouldn’t hurt to put chalk lines or something there – especially if you’re having to do a full eight-foot wall. Our bulkheads simply aren’t that big.Also, a hair dryer makes the PVC quite flexible to allow for added assistance in removing bubbles or some weird angles or curves on the surface.I still gave it five starts on "Easy to Install" because it's WAY easier than wallpaper and our project was outside the bounds of what the product was designed to do.In the end, it turned out way better than either of us expected. You honestly can’t tell that it’s not wood unless you’re right on top of it or touch it. If they could find a way to add texture to the grain, they’d be geniuses, LOLI intentionally waited to write this review for a few weeks just to see how it would hold up under the humid conditions of a sailboat and I am happy to report that all is well. None of it has peeled, scratched, rubbed off, or done anything untoward at all.Highly recommended.

I have to clean an apartment for new tenants. The existing cabinets were greasy and dirty. I used different cleaning solutions and the result was not promising. I heard from my friend that the old cabinets can be refinished with sticky papers. So I decided to give it a try.After several applications and usage I found following:Pros: The paper is sticky and can be slowly peeled off reapplication. (If you did not line it up properly in the first time.) The paper is thick enough for durability and yet it is easy to cut, apply and trim. The color and design is consistent.Cons: The paper is not too sticky. It works well with large flat surfaces. But if you bend the paper for small surface/edge, like the bottom shelf of the cabinet, the stickiness lose its function. It does not offer too much colors or grain patterns. It cannot be applied on bumpy surfaces.Tips: For cabinet surface Only (since dealing with small area.) First use scissor to cut the shape slightly bigger than the actual surface. Then peel off the back paper entirely and slowly lower the sticky paper and slowly smooth it out from center to outside to get rid of any air bubbles. (Remember if you don’t press on the paper, you can still peel it off easily to adjust as needed.) Next press against the edges of the corner with finger tips to create an edge line and trim the excess paper with sharp utility knife. (Press the knife against the cabinet corners at 45 degree angle. Go slowly with the knife at a constant pressure and speed.) Finally peel off the trimmed-off excess paper and perform a final inspection and trimming.

Bought this to re-cover some ceiling fan blades to match our wood floors and it worked great! Looks like real wood and no problem sticking it to the blades and keeping it on there. Liked it so much, we refinished the bottom of our turntable with the same item and it also looks like real wood. Fast shipping as well. Highly recommended.

It’s nice to see but not great when it comes to adherence! It’s so hard to install as it’s hard to remove bubbles. If you wan to have in on any uneven structure it’s not recommended

I put this on the top of a dresser on my own. It was easy to do and looks nice from afar. The bubbles are hard to get out but not impossible and could probably be prevented by doing it with someone else. The corners are also tricky but again not noticeable from afar. In the picture the top of the table is the sticky paper and the front is real wood, it matches perfectly and is impossible to tell the difference from 10 ft away!

Worked great! Used on kitchen drawer that was peeling. It stuck well and looks realistic.
